When we arrived at the hotel on Sunday about 4:15pm and found out that our room wasn't ready. We were disappointed. That was no excuses for not have our room ready by 4pm. So we all sat down in the lobby area but then the lady(I forgot her name but I think she is the manager) came out and asked us if we have been helping. I told her that we are waiting for our room then she immediately went back to the front desk and found the room for us right away. That was so nice of her to take extra step to make sure her customers happy. She represented Hilton very well. Friendly, professionalism and caring. I wish everyone there should have same attitudes like her. Our kids were so happy that they can go get change to enjoy the ocean and the pool. We definitely come back again

After reading reviews we chose this hotel for our family vacation. We were very disappointed in the check in the choice of words used with the staff. For meaning of late check in. We were affected by the global shut down instead of accommodation from the hotel we waited almost 3 hours to get our room. The entrance is not very spacious as it was but many were crammed in waiting for the hotel to get the system fixed for hours. Excuses from staff and complete inability to speak to guests with hearing complaining they also had been working with this issue for 30 plus hours like it was the guests problem. By then they shouldn't had a game plan for next day for the future gueats. We had a small balcony but the view was amazing I would say that was the only plus staying here.
Hotel had trash outside and throughout the halls. Ac turned off at night making the room uncomfortable to sleep in. Ac was set on a certain temperature and throughout the day we noticed it hot again around 2pm room was 73 which maybe ok for some but obviously heat if the day. everyone is different in comfort seems it sets at that temp and shuts off certain times of the day. Price did not match service will not be using them in the future.

The hospitality was the absolute best here, Matt was so helpful and courteous. So observant to our needs and the fact that we were traveling with a baby, he was so attentive. The staff was always picking up after the property and smiling at guests. This was our second time staying here and we will definitely be back.

Pros: I loved having a hotel room with direct access to the beach. I traveled with my family. The room was spacious. We were able to sit on the balcony and enjoy the 4th of July fireworks, which were stunning. The breakfast buffet was tasty and reasonably priced. We ordered lunch from the on-site restaurant. The food was good. We valet parked and it was super convenient. Cons: the pool could be cleaner. I’d definitely stay here again!

Loved the room and you can’t beat the view! A few minor negatives: The beds weren’t that comfortable and there wasn’t any milk or juice available for kids. The staff was very friendly and although it was very busy they were quick to assist us. Also loved that we couldn’t hear any other guests around us, just the ocean waves crashing onto the beach!

We have been there four times since 2015. Last year I complained about the no cleaning policy . the room was dirty and sandy. This year they seem to clean every fourth day which is an improvement. However, I took cleaning devices and solutions with me. I vacuumed and stiffened once. They still want trash out by the door. The hotel itself appeared cleaner than last year. My main complaint is that the pool is still dirty. Even worse, the tiled pavement around the pool is filthy. Moss is everywhere with weeds and grass growning adjacent to the building. They did put up new lounge chairs and umbrellas . However, the umbrellas really do not do well when windy. And there are not enough umbrellas out there. Overall, there have been improvements but it could be amazing if they would deal with some of these things. One thing--the food is very good, especially the breakfast buffet. More--the wifi was down for our first two days. The staff are very friendly and try to help. The ladies that clean are wonderful but speak no English in case you need to converse with them. I don't know whether we will return to the area as my family is moving out. Should we return, I would still consider this facility despite my complaining. I have read reviews of three or four nearby hotels . They sound worse.

Our family enjoyed staying there. The beach is right behind the hotel so it was easy access. The indoor/outdoor pool was great, the temperature of the water was perfect. We paid an extra $20/ per night for breakfast, that was a steal for our family of 5. The breakfast buffet was really great. They had a breakfast bar and also you could order specialty items and to think if we didn't pay the extra $20, we would of had to pay over $60 if we didn't. If you reserve a room here make you take the breakfast option, it is definitely worth it.

I am a yearly visitor to Virginia Beach for our family vacation, generally staying in a 3400 block oceanfront. I am aware of the pricing for most goods and services is astronomical. I paid $670/n for my room to accommodate 6 total guests. At check out I received an additional bill of $120 a night. Knowing I was paying such a large sum for my room my expectations were high & all of my needs were met. I found the staff to be willing during the length of the stay. Unfortunately after checking out and driving two hours we recognized leaving a infant blanket behind. Clearly recognizing that it was in the bed linen and didn’t make it into the suitcase we immediately called. We were put on hold, we were transferred to a voicemail in housekeeping. I called again was put on hold again. I asked to speak with a supervisor who checked the room and didn’t find anything. I asked if linen could be checked. I was told I would receive a phone call back. I did not. I called again the same evening and was met on the phone with a gracious staff member who said he would check himself. He did not, he did not return my phone call. I called again today and was sent to voicemail. I called back and was told that the room had already been checked once yesterday and that the item was lost. Unfortunately when you spend over $3000 just on the room, not including dining on property which was at least
another $600- I expect effort or sympathy for a precious item. Lost my business.
