Oceanfront Inn

My family and myself went down to Virginia Beach and stayed at the oceanfront Inn. We were very satisfied we stayed the weekend for my grandson‘s birthday. I have family come from Baltimore Pennsylvania also and they enjoyed their stay there as well. I will go back again the next time we take a trip back to Virginia Beach.

We stayed for the night prior to the Shamrock Marathon to avoid parking and all the chaos in the morning. Hotel is conveniently located too many shops restaurants and ice cream/candy places. Every stack number I encountered was pleasurable and were all smiling. Not the nicest place but not bad at all fairly clean and a great indoor pool for the kids!

My stay was Fantastic and the Staff were truly professional and kind! This was my second stay and I would recommend this facility to friends and family!

some of the employees reeked of wee d my infant grandson got sick from it in the hallways and the toilet paper had holes in it could get better from the dollar tree.

Right on the ocean, affordable and family friendly. Indoor pool a nice feature, great location for shops/dining. Staff was friendly and great!

I loved that all rooms faced the ocean and the boardwalk was just outside. Every room had a balcony which meant we could enjoy the ocean even when the weather was bad.The one thing I would have liked is a microwave in the room, it would have been very convenient for families with children.

We loved the obvious community connection and family friendly feeling of this independent hotel. Loved that community movie events were hosted free on the beach-with themed inflatables. Loved the backstory of this unique space! The staff were very knowledgeable of various local attractions, the accommodations were spacious and clean. Support local family businesses! Support local independent hotels!

Excellent view and location that’s pretty’s much where the majority of your money is going. The rooms was a typical beach room nothing to write home about. The housekeepers were very helpful and friendly. My biggest complaint would probably be the parking garage which has NO ELEVATORS. A huge inconvenience if you have a big family with a lot of luggage.

I arrived a couple hours prior to check-in, the front desk said the rooms were still being cleaned and they would call me when its ready. Got tired of waiting after 1hour so went back to get a status and they gave me a room. Where was my call? I am traveling with a small child and we were left with terrible customer service. After Day one, no room cleaning, day 2 after requesting my room be cleaned to 2 housekeepers and the front desk my room still was not cleaned. I called the front desk and complained and they sent a broom dustpan sheets and towels for me to replace myself. I didn't pay all this money to change my own linens while im on vacation. I will never stay at this hotel again.

Atlantic beach impressed me with its accessibility options to the beach, the walkability, variety of free entertainment withing blocks (even movie on the beach in front of the property). The history surrounding the area was a bonus! The property itself is family oriented, and appears to be less than modern, as most properties are in that area. It is not where you would go find many amenities such as large pools, slides, and lazy rivers that are good for small children. There is one small indoor pool, I didn't utilize because I was traveling solo. The room is clean and comfortable with all your basic amenities. I did have to have the refrigerator switched out because it was not working soon after check in. The staff were prompt and understanding. The view of the ocean and the boardwalk made this property an outstanding choice for me, and I enjoyed my stay!
