Worst stay ever..initial appearance of the lobby was horrible..dated, no restroom and the water machine was leaking with a towel wrapped around. Went to the room..had adjoining rooms for my family for a 3 night stay. One room had black mold on the shower curtain and no towels in the other room. Made contact with cleaning staff after a long attempt to find them..they changed out the shower curtain and stocked towels. Location was ideal so gave the hotel a chance. On the second night at 2 am my family in the adjoining room was awoken to an infestation of bed bugs and were bitten from head to toe. Realizing the first night stay my granddaughter had bites but was thinking it was maybe mosquitoes or something outside now realizing both events were from bed bugs. Made contact with the lobby that didn’t reopen until 8 am where the clerk basically stated that I was lying about bed bugs and was not attempting to help. I made the clerk come to the room (we had taken pictures to show that he was not interested in), when he got to the room he pulled back the covers and saw the infestation for himself (scary that you could see them so easily in daylight). I requested a refund and he said he could move us to another room and would have the cleaning staff spray and change linens (and actually said he would just rent that room to another guest..WHAT THE HECK??). I immediately checked out and found another hotel to finish out my vacation for the last day. WILL NEVER PATRONIZE AGAIN!

The space was so yucky. Holes in the wall, literally. Mold in the bathroom. Outlets with no covers. Thankfully, we were kid free and just needed somewhere to pass out.

It's me again lol... Leaving another review!!! So me and my family have been here since Easter weekend. Which turned into a 2 week mini vacation for my kids lol. Wasn't expecting to stay on this side that long but why not my job is down here so I said what the heck. Gave my kids the best time down here even with me having to work . Everything had been going good up in till Friday. When I got off work my daughter told me that the next door people had been very loud all day even waking up my 1 year old. I could hear all the noise. Whom ever was in room 233 was horrible they literally was arguing all night fighting,yelling,throwing things at one point I thought they were going to come through the wall that's how crazy it got. Out of the entire 2 weeks we were here it had been so quiet. I was so glad when they left. But butter sweet were leaving today, it has been so much fun but gotta get back across the water. I will definitely be back very soon I love staying down here it's so relaxing especially when you're staying by the water.

So I ended up giving my kids a very nice spring break to enjoy while I was at work.Everyinng was going good up in till 2 nights ago. Whom ever was in room 233 was horrible kept me up all night and woke up my 1 year old. Especially when I had to work the next morning . They were yelling at each other, fighting which turned terrible. I even went down to the front desk to inform them. The whole 2 weeks me and my family was here we have heard any type of comotion it's been quite.But were leaving today heading back across the water it has been great staying down here and having my kids with me I will definitely be coming back down here very soon.

Amazing place. Great views and affordable also pet friendly so we could bring our fur baby with us. Will definitely be back!

Rundown and FALSE advertising. We've been staying here for almost 18 years and this property has gone down. Property grounds are not being kept up. Offer free bikes (website states it still) but tried to charge. Then said bikes were inoperable. Yet, left bikes out and STILL tried to charge our other friends staying there for use of nikes. Free Internet lasted for 2 days and didn't get fixed till almost checkout 2 days later. 2 of the 4 rooms booked had iced over fridges. Every patio was full of trash and cigarette butts and weeds so tall, you had to pull them out to even walk out to the grass. Front desk was alerted, at the time, to everything but said they'd notify management. Manager tried to claim she wasn't management to avoid any accountability for the situation. She refused to acknowledge or accept the many mishaps that occurred and said it was a lie. This used to be one of the best family owned and friendliest small hotels oceanfront. We've encouraged countless families to stay here for almost 2 decades now ..Including this stay, 4 rooms, of which 3 were booked for 4 days. We will never recommend this hotel until its ran by competent people.

It was awesome! My family and i will stay there again in the near future. Plus they have a pool open 24/7 i loved that .

Negatives: The furniture in the room had big holes in the armrests and some stains. Carpet was well-worn. The place looked very well-used. Door looked like someone had tried to pry it off the hinges at some point in time. Furniture/room smelled musty. Positives: Staff was extremely friendly and efficient in their duties. It was nice to be able to walk right out and be on the boardwalk, listening to all of the music from surrounding venues. It was centrally located. Final Assessment: If you don't mind staying in a place that looks like a college kid's off campus house adorned with dumpster furniture, this is the place for you. If I had paid $50/night, I wouldn't have minded the place, but at over $200/night, that was really steep for what I described above. I should have taken pictures, but I didn't realize I would be reviewing the place.

Jimmy at the front desk was very hosputable, and helpful, especially when I locked myself and family out of our room. Perfect location to many restaurants and stores, walking distance. Nice pool and bicycles for rent. Right on the boardwalk as well!

I have stayed here for over 20 years with previous owners & no issues. This year, i arrived after driving all night & they "cancellled" my room, when i showed them it was not cancelled, they Cx other ppl & gave me a room. Jimmy was the only nice one. I had a cochroach, ant infestation & RATS, yes rats, i have multiple videos. If you like rats, cool. When i talked to the lady at the front desk, she was the rudest person i ever met in my life, i work in Healthcare & ive had my fair share of rude people. They refuse to do ANY housekeeping even if its 1x a week. Disgusting. The bathtub and sinks dont drain. Another guest toilet got clogged, the lady told her to go find a plunger & plunge it herself!! You have to get your own towels, washcloths, etc from the supply closet. A different guest had to call a pool company to get the pool taken care of because it was green. Only after i threatened the Department of Health did anything get done (pest control). They tell housekeepers to not change sheets and they put sheets back on with SEMEN on them. Yep, you heard that right. This is 100% not worth staying at. Also, the homeless sleep up on the 2nd floor balcony and by the ice machine. This place needs shut down which is such a shame because it used to feel like "home" and "family" up until these new owners took over. All they care about is $$ and not about the health or safety of their guests. I know sounds like a good deal but i would spend your money elsewhere.
