Hyatt House Virginia Beach / Oceanfront

The only issue I had was my family and I stayed for 5 days and we were told maid service only comes af checkout. .we constantly had to keep calling the front desk for cleaning supplies and trash pickup. We also had to request vacuum cleaning services.

Perfect for a quick getaway. I love the location which was close to beach. The facilities were clean and well kept. It is great for families and had beach towels and fun water toys for the guest which was a plus! Definitely will stay again.

Awesome place to stay on family vacation

This is our second time staying at this property and both times were excellent! The room exceeded our expectations in both cleanliness and comfort! Very spacious! The complimentary breakfast buffet was an added bonus! Travelling with family, including small children. Plenty of options for the whole family! Did I mention location was perfect?

Front desk service was shocking how rude they were. After driving five hours with the kids, went in to ask what the chances of being able to get in to our room a couple hours early to put the baby down for a nap and I was so shocked at the rudeness for a simple request. Not a “oh sorry we can’t accommodate that right now”, but basically laughed in our face and told us we could come back AFTER 4PM and our room MIGHT be ready then. Power went out at the hotel and we were on the 18th floor. Out of their control but a great experience. The garage parking across the street couldn’t read my badge and so had to go back and have them rekey it? Nice. All other staff was very friendly and helpful (bar, bellhop, and breakfast), but the front desk seemed inconvenienced and put out by every interaction. Only caught Kaylan’s name on the last day as one of the culprits, but there were a couple other ladies at the front who were so rude it was actually surprising. For the cost I will definitely be staying anywhere else other than at this hotel again.

Comfortable stay especially for our fur baby

The hotel is nice and clean, right on the beach with beautiful beach views. Breakfast is a great addition especially when travelling with kids. They charged us $50 a night for parking and a "resort" fee! The front desk staff were not friendly especially the guy that worked the evening/night shift.

My stay was amazing. Our family love it. From the ocean view , to the 17th fl we were on. So clean, breakfast was hot and good. Bed was comfy. Staff was super friendly!! The valet Parking was kinda hected and a very tight sweeze but tge valeter , Robert handled like a pro. He was AWSEOME!!.

Our stay was just an ordinary experience. I am satisfied with our stay and I have no complaints. There was nothing that was above and beyond that would make me want to stay again. I am a single father with 3 young kids. The restaurant doesn't really cater to families but for the adults, the restaurant was great.
