This is a family run location and their passion shows! Such a friendly team! We saved, per room, $250 per night by staying here and paid a $10 cab ride to downtown each day and night. We saw the rooms downtown where the rest of our team stayed - and they were nothing special. AC unit was very loud, but the area is quiet, the rooms are clean, staff is friendly, and it's the most affordable place in the area. La Hacienda was a great and unexpected find!

I lost my phone before check in. The wonderful woman at the desk took charge and helped me recover my phone. She made me feel like family. I will definitely stay here anytime I am in San Antonio. I can honestly say I have nothing but praise for the hotel and owners.

Very comfortable hotel at a very reasonable price. It’s near the Alamo etc but not sure if it’s a safe walk. For our purpose—seeing family on the east side), it was great. No elevator but it’s only 2story. Limited number of parking spots but didn’t affect us. Staff was friendly.

Traveling alone (without the family), I decided to book an inexpensive hotel for 2 nights. But I was surprised to find out this little hotel is actually very nice. Very clean, friendly staff. I would stay here again. Definitely a great value.

This hotel is horrible. It is not close to riverwalk or dome or any other attraction. The staff did not have a clue of what customer service is. The area is ugly and at night you fell very unsafe. I would not recommend to take your family to this place!!!
