Super friendly staff, clean rooms if a little bit worn. Great location, family owned business. My friend said that the staff was the kindest of any hotel staff. Limited outdoor rooms, most are inside the hotel. Came through in a pinch on both the reservation and checkout. Check out Bogside down the street on the Sunset strip if you're down there.

It was one of the worst hotelstay experiences I have ever had. The older woman who help us at check in was wonderful. After that ut was down hill. Walked in the room to a mell due smell in the room. Then we pulled back the covers and there was two womens hairs in one bed but he ither had none. (Was willing to lool past both). Nest night my daughter was playing and her pencil fell under the bed. I go to retrieve it and there was trash under both beds like they had never been cleaned uder them. Cigarette box, broken childs toy, water bottle, random trash and dust on everything above eye level. Took pictures since at that point I had my last straw and was done. It was 12:30am at this point and i called hotels.com customer support to cancel my next day reservation. We sucked it up for a few hours and at the first chance im the morning I went to address my concerns with the front desk. There was a different lady there, most likely an owner but she show no care for my issues. This even after I showed her pictures of everything she never apologized or tried to make it better in any way. She just told me OK and you prepaid so your probably not going to get your money back. I would recommend to anyone NEVER stay here period . Not worth any price you pay. They seriously need to reevaluate why they are in the hotel business before they go under.

Check in was a fiasco. My flight was delayed, so I got in late, and even though I called to let them know, they put my room in as a no show for two nights (I was still within the 1st day, and “no show” means they cancel your reservation, meaning we had no place to stay after spending the night in the airport), so check in took the better part of an hour, which is what no one wants to do after flight delays. And, they were able to verify that they knew that I called, twice, once after each delay, and knew when I’d be in, but no one bothered to tell me my reservation was cancelled. Fortunately, Expedia was able to help with this, but sitting in the heat after almost no sleep is not how most people want to start a vacation with two small kids. We had one shampoo bottle and one lotion bottle for 4 people and two nights. No soap at all (good thing we brought our own, as how could we even properly wash our hands after using the bathroom?). The shower curtain wasn’t long enough to keep the water in the shower, so we had to use 1 of our 4 towels to dry the floor (too much water for the one bath mat) so that we wouldn’t slip, as we literally had standing water puddled over 1/3 to 1/2 the bathroom floor. The location isn’t the prettiest, but it’s easy to get to and a nice short walk to the Riverwalk area. It’s along a main road, so if road noise bothers you, this might not be the hotel for you. It wasn’t that loud, it’s not a super busy road, and we were there during Fiesta
