Hyatt Regency San Antonio Riverwalk

This is an amazing place to stay. Very clean and the staff is amazing. 24-7 service for anything you may need. Our kids got sick in the room and the front desk sent 2 staff members to come clean our room at 1 in the morning. Perfect location on the riverwalk and down town stores. Just a few blocks from the mall.

We had a wonderful time and enjoyed our stay. We did choose the Alamo view only to find out there was construction going on across the street and all we could see was scaffolding. Our room wasn’t ready at check in. Which was frustrating too we had to wait almost 2 hours after check in. They did store our bags so we went to the river walk which was fine but by the time we got to our room it was the start of dinner time so the rush and crowds were hoppin’. We ended up have to wait awhile for dinner as most places you have to be in person to reserve a table. Waiting for dinner on hungry stomachs in the heat makes for some grouchy kids. Thankfully the rest of the trip went well… we did enjoy the hotel other than those things listed!

The stay was amazing, however, if you’re planning to utilize the valet option for you car, get ready to wait an hour if not more to get your car. Several families waiting around for their vehicles. They have a “text” service, but repeatedly received a msg that “no valets available, try back in 10min.”

This was a great hotel stay for our family of 4. Once we parked our car (in self parking across the street) we never had to move our car. We walked to dinner, along the riverwalk, to the Alamo and Menger Hotel. We spent time at the rooftop pool and had lunch and drinks ordered from the pool and delivered up to us. There was a caricaturist in the lobby who did our kids' portrait. The indoor water feature was drained, I assume for maintenance? Loved being so close to the riverwalk. I appreciated having the water filling station near the elevators on each floor. Would stay here again.

Perfect location, great service, very family friendly. There were so many convienent dining options, very close to all attractions, and a CVS and Walgreens very close by for any little emergencies. Super clean as well. Highly recommend staying here.

We got one night away with our family and our stay at the Hyatt was definitely the low-point. Our room was not ready when we arrived - even though it was over 2 hours past check-in. The staff was not responsive to front-text inquiries made via text even though it was posted all over the hotel as a recommendation. We had ZERO service at breakfast and my husband had to get up twice just to find someone to bring water and coffee - menus were never offered. To quote my 10 year old, “it’s like the people working there didn’t want to be there… or didn’t want us there.” We won’t be back.

We come here every year around Thanksgiving. The property is great and it's within walking distance to everything. We haven't been since their remodel and I'm loving the rooms even more than I did before. We will definitley be back. This is my family's #1 stay in San Antonio!

The checkin was smooth, our room was clean and tidy. We enjoyed nice drinks at the bar and the kids enjoyed the time there. Pool is not heated.

Experience was awful. Room had no air condition. I complained to the staff at front desk. She send someone to the room, but they couldn’t fixed it. Then she offered a small tiny fan, which i refused to take. Unfortunately for me and the kids we slept sweating. Bad experience. Staff not friendly.
