Turf Valley Resort

The gentleman who checked us in Chris was excellent. It was my birthday. He gave us Complementary drinks and Breakfast coupons. We stay at Turf Valley a few times a year. We live in Delaware and have family in Elliott City. My granddaughter had a dance recital. We love Turf Valley.

Treated me like family

The property and all amenities are clean and updated. The staff are friendly and accommodating. I recommend Turf Valley to all my family and friends.

Such a great place to stay when in the area. Room rates are a great deal . The rooms are fantastic and the restaurant is phenomenal . We stayed 3 nights due to family health issues in the area . We ate at the restaurant all 3 nights because it was that good ( despite many other restaurants in the area). This place is great !

We stayed at Turf Valley Resort while we attended a family nearby. The resort was so convenient and the staff made everything easy for us. Our room was large with a bar sink and microwave. Our stay at Turf Valley rounded out a wonderful visit with family and friends.

The food and staff at Alexandra’s were wonderful! Our room had a large water stain on the ceiling just inside the entrance. It seems the resort sells memberships to the community and so the pool was constantly overrun with kids. Also, this resort is NOT really pet-friendly as we really couldn’t really take our dogs anywhere on property.

All indoor and outdoor pools were crazy busy with kids . But room is large and updated!

We always stay at Turf Valley for family Thanksgiving. kids love the pool and gym and restaurant. Family suites are roomy and comfortable. Sadly, year by year the clientele have become noisier, parties in rooms requiring us to call front desk at midnight to quiet them down. The Nature Trail ends abruptly at a walkway through the golf course, no signs saying Turn Back, but as my 58-year old sister and I strolled quietly along the path back to the hotel, men playing gold yelled at us and even chased us in a golf cart, saying we "ought to know not to walk on the golf path". The in-room book of amenities however says the golf course is open to guests, and we walked ONLY on the path in order to return from the end of the MARKED nature trail.

There were several weddings while we were there, but we slept like babies at night-quiet and comfortable. Very roomy King suite, great shower too. I couldn't find any coffee in the lobby, that was a bit disappointing. Otherwise, front desk was extremely helpful as was the Host and bartender in the restaurant. Our second stay, and even though neither of us play golf we will return

We had lived in Howard County for 3 decades before moving south. Most special family occasions spent there. Many business fundraisers, Red Heart Ball, Gilchrist, Weddings, etc and many, many more. I was thrilled to be able to return to visit family and stay at Turf Valley. Not sure if the poor room I was given was based on booking it through a third party site (Hotels.com) or not. The bathroom was upgraded, Sadly new ones have no drawers. The bedroom was SO DARK and gave a dreary vibe. Light bulbs or something needed upgraded!! Though we stayed from Christmas Eve to New Years Eve it was always so hot in our room #311. We would have to turn A/C on at times but that was so loud and noisy we had to turn off. The Mangione Family are a great family but address your accommodations! Unfortunately for me I don’t think my husband would let me choose your hotel again. We spend lots of weeks due to work or family back in Howard County 😢😔
