Was okay hotel. There was a kids field hockey tournament and the kids were running wild. Parents were not watching children in pool and they were in the gym destroying everything.

Everyone we encountered was so incredibly nice and accommodating. Our house got damaged in a storm and we were freaked out. Hampton Inn was like staying with family, minus the annoying parts!

This was a great hotel for our family of 4. We wanted to hike Patapsco State Park and explore Ellicott City and this place seemed to be in good central location fir everything we needed. We felt safe. The hotel was clean, the pool area was nice, and the breakfast was perfect for us and our two young kids.

I can not say enough about the staff at this hotel! They were simply amazing to my family. During breakfast one staff member was so caring to my 2 1/2 year old. She washed his personal cup, cut food up for him, and was just so loving and kind.

It was a great stay, the only reason I gave a less than perfect review for property condition was that the pool was under construction, which is one of the main reasons we picked this location as the kids were excited about it.

Place was very convenient from I-95 for a family party in Columbia. Mentioned to the front desk people that the cable would go out quite frequently. The bluetooth charger did not work, only 2 of them. The desk only had a DSL cable plug, no bluetooth. No cups in the bathroom either. Not sure why. Also they overcharge you at checkin in case of incidentals? Then at checkout you get your true total cost if nothing else was charged during your stay. There is no restaurant there. But a serving area for the free breakfast which was great.

We stayed 5 nights while visiting family in the area. Check-in and out was quick and easy. Plumbing, A/C, lighting - everything worked well. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. Cleanliness was good also. In the breakfast area, chairs, ceiling tiles are worn and need replacing. Bathroom ceiling in my room needed repainting. Overall, a good stay and a good value.

The staff was friendly and the hotel and room very clean. My family really enjoyed our stay and we will be coming back soon!
