Great stay with grandkids loved the pool

We had a king with a pull out sofa with pool view. During the day you could hear MARCO..... POLO very clearly. even from the 4th floor. The hotel offered to change my room but did not have the same set up, which I really needed. Nice of them.. but wanted to give a heads up to this situation. Incase you are somtiomes in the room mid-day. If I needed to keep an eye on my kids down at the pool, though, it's poerfect.

I’ve stayed at hotels weekend after weekend for wrestling tournaments over the last few years and I have never had a worse experience. We go to use the pool/hot tub when we first get there because that’s what my kids love and we see people letting a huge group of friends/family members in the back door who aren’t even staying at the hotel. They had about 50 people in the pool acting like maniacs so we said whatever fine. We go back up to the room chill out and relax. All night long some wanna be thugs are around running around screaming, slamming doors. I mean from 11pm- 6 AM. We called the front desk atleast 3 times times to let them know we can’t even sleep. They come up and say hey guys can you keep it down and 10 minutes later they are screeming acting a fool all over again. The property felt unsafe and honestly felt like they had done sketchy stuff going down in there. Needless to say I’ve stayed at Hilton many of times but that will be my Last.

Pros: Good location, Not to far from the mall and restaurants. Emergency room about 10 mins away. Indoor pool. Has a restaurant and bar. Very close to highway. Front desk staff very pleasant. Easy check-in. Cons: No free breakfast ( maybe not ideal for families) Full breakfast cost about $16 per person (not including taxes). Rooms need renovation. Update carpet, paint and ceiling.

Stayed at the DoubleTree by Hilton for a wedding in town. It's a great hotel for families and to socialize in their lobby. It was our second stay, with the first also being for a wedding. I loved their gym as well.

Our stay at the DoubleTree, Columbia MD was pleasant and comfortable. I was disappointed to find that although I reserved a king bed, there were none available at check-in. It appeared the hotel oversold king rooms. Nevertheless, our room was clean and the two queen beds were comfortable. This was a one night stay to connect with family in the area.
