Our family vacation was a disaster thanks to out stay, upon arrival we were informed it was $50 ! Day for parking when stated on website it was $40. Then checked into room and wife takes off shoes to relax and immediately stepped in animal urine next to bed. After going down to speak to desk clerk that offered another room. Moved to room in the back part of hotel, asked for a different room was given another room. Upon inspecting the new room discovered toenail clipping on couch cushion. After voicing my concern again i was told i could go find somewhere else to stay. Traveling 15 hrs with 3 children and 6 in the evening that was not a option. So i was forced to stay in the cleaner of the 3 options in which we get ready for bed taht evening fold out the sofa bed to discover brown stains on mattress. The next day i again went to speak with staff (Manager) in which they informed me they was not aware of issue. After showing them email which they were aware that i filed a complaint with hotels.com and they replied stating since i checked in already they was not going to do anything. Then agreed on refunding 50% of stay. The next day we no longer felt comfortable staying there we ended out vacation ealier. Again at check out i requested to speak with a manager and was told they were no available and then again questioned the refund that was suppose to be given i was told i needed to contact hotels.com after explaining i already have they said they couldnt do anything. Not finish

About the only worthwhile quality of this property is the location, and even with that being said, there are much better locations with similar prices that I shopped. Now that I’ve stayed in the area and seen them in person, I would stay elsewhere. Only one elevator was functioning (so continuous waiting when you’re on the top floor with your family), couldn’t check in even a few minutes early, the snacks/drinks were limited and overpriced with no vending available, and the “breakfast buffet” was scrambled eggs, bagels, oatmeal, a 20 minute line for waffles, and one meat item - so almost identical to any continental breakfast at any cheap motel you’ve ever stayed at. The only fruit I even saw was an orange. And despite having plenty of floor space, the actual seating capacity was restricted to the point that folks had to stand. Parking was “valet” service, literally into a garage right past the checkin doors that anyone could drive into themselves ($40/night extra), so we parked in the garage one block away for less than half that cost. Road construction limited the traffic to one-way, one lane. Walk outside, and be ready to be swarmed by the homeless. So overall, not an experience we will repeat with the Springhill Suites!

It was pretty convenient to most things. Staff was awesome. Pool was nice except the water was very foggy, probaly due to the larger amount of kids that had been in there the day before. I was afraid to go in but it was nice to sit and relax near it. The only issues i would say with our stay was the 1 out of 2 elevators were out, so slow going getting one..but they did have a call in to fix and then the very, very strong odor of bleach in the room. At least you knew they cleaned..or had a bleach accident! But the smell was still there the next day. Luckily only there for a 24 hour stay. That caused a not so great headache.

The staff was friendly and our room was ready when we arrived. Unfortunately there was only one useable elevator and it was a busy weekend. Our room was spacious for 3 adults and 2 children, 2 queen beds and a pull out couch. However it didn’t seem the room had been vaccumed and there was some food dried on the couch. The extra door stop/lock was broken off the door.

We had a family suite with 2 queens and a sofa sleeper. We had 4 adults, and it was perfect! My husband and myself, my mother-in-law and 23 year old son has plenty of room! The refrigerator wasn’t very cold, but just used ice.

The first room they gave us, the sleeper sofa was disgustingly dirty. We told them. They gave us a new room. New room was fine. But housekeeping only came once in the 6 nights we stayed. I had to call for toilet paper. I had to call anytime we needed clean towels. After calling we waited 2 hours. Nothing. Called again. We were told to come down to the front desk for them. Did that. At 10:30pm knocking at our door, waking kids up, finally housekeeping at the door with towels we asked for hours earlier and had to go get ourselves. Trash was overflowing. When i asked the desk to have the manager call us to discuss this; no one ever called. So the cleanliness was well below where it should be. Very disappointed. Wouldn't stay there ever again or recommend.

We recently stayed for the weekend. Our room was very narrow despite booking a suite. The room was dirty with stains on the floors and counters and dust on the refrigerator and microwave. The sink in the bathroom wouldn’t drain unless the plug was removed. The pool area looked dirty. The hot tub was cold and the water looked murky. There was trash around the perimeter so needless to say I wouldn’t let my kids in the pool or hot tub. The breakfast was nice, but not enough seating to accommodate the amount of guests. The location was perfect. We could walk everywhere. The concierge was very helpful and assisted in booking a ghost tour for our family. The bartender at the attached restaurant Toasted was friendly and accommodating and made great drinks. Only bummer was that the restaurant was closed on Sunday.

The property itself was in a fantastic location. The free breakfast was ok but they were out of a lot of things each day and the trash cans were overflowing in the lobby which we found odd. The pool and hot tub were unusable and filthy which when traveling with kids is something they look forward to. Overall it was a fine location for a weekend trip to see Savannah- but I don’t know if we would stay here again.
