Staff and room were nice. The bed and pillows weren't very comfortable. I ended up sleeping in the chair. I didn't know I had to pay for parking $35 a night and there are limited spots. The whole area is paid parking $1-2/hr and limited nighttime parking areas. Seems like a party town. Not alot to do downtown with my grandson and kids.

Everything was great, but the air won’t go lower than 68 and it was actually 73-76 in our room. That is not comfortable for us. I also don’t know how the room was cleaned. There were still a few items left over from the previous guests and the floors had not been vacuumed. I also don’t like paying $35 to park and not being able to park onsite.
Overall, it was a good stay for our family. The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable. I would stay here again.

Fantastic Hotel!! Very clean, very family oriented. Stayed here for 2 days with 5 children from 8 months to 14 years old, walked everywhere, pool was great and very enjoyable for kids. Breakfast was amazing, so many choices and so much better than trying to figure out where to get food for everyone. River street is not as nice and safe like it use to be, there are now some of the crazies as I call them roaming around and trying to talk to our children, do we started avoiding it

Upon check in we weren't able to take our grandchildren to the pool because they said it was closed for maintenance. When it opened an hour or so after check in we no sooner got in when a man approached us and said the pool maintenance staff said the chlorine levels were too high and we had to get out. No swimming that day. The back door which required key entry didn't work the entire stay. They said they were aware of the issue. Our ceiling leaked when it rained by the window over the ac unit. The maintenance man told us he'd have to speak with his supervisor, but no one ever got back to us. We were there 2 days and no maid service. Location was a short walk to the River, but there was construction on the walk and the side walks had many filled puddles from the rain. Not their fault, but inconvenient. Nice sized room, too bad the property wasn't better maintained.

Great hotel near everything in Savannah. Walking distance to the Riverwalk, parks, shopping, and restaurants. Love the atmosphere of the hotel, great breakfast, and had coffee and tea available at the lobby at all time, even had cookies and lemonade in the lobby in the afternoons. Did have to pay $30/night for parking but had in and out access all day. Often times the parking lot at the hotel is full and you will have to park at the parking deck of the Embassy Hotel next door and walk over. The room was clean and had everything we needed. We were there as a family for vacation.

Had a handicap shower with a chair. Only problems were could not switch water flow from above to hand held. They both stayed on . Also lile was a bit slippery. Could use skid spots.

Om my way to Florida from Maryland (one night, July 24) and back (one night, July 30) I booked lodging in Savannah for 5 people: three adults and two children 12 and 11 years old.
The first stay (in Embass (y Suites) was ok: two roomes witth 3 beds, as I requested. However, the second stay )in Hampton} was terrible, even it was more expensive than the first one. The staff gave me a small room with just two beds. I (80 years old person) had to sleep on the floor without a matress. The staff say they have no rooms for 5 people and any complains must be addressed to Expedia.
nother point, also dissapointing, thete was no internet connection in both Embassy Suires and Hampton. They say that stable internet is availble only for Hilton Honors.

The few staff members we spoke with were very polite. However, that is the only positive comment I can offer. Our room and bathroom were filthy, the pillows were flat (like a flat tire), there were smears all over the mirrors, multiple stains on the carpet, the carpet felt sticky to walk on (super gross), there were marks/scuffs on every single wall, the shower took 11 minutes to reach warm (not hot), and the water pressure was non-existent. We arrived/checked in after 8pm, after a full day of driving. Went straight to dinner and returned after midnight. We really did not have an opportunity to change rooms or simply leave as we got in late and were traveling with children. Also, the parking situation is not ideal. If you are charging $30 per day for parking, there should be valet personnel to take cars to the parking garage....a guest should not pay that fee and be expected to walk a block or more. Lastly, there is no reasonable area to unload/load your car at check in/check out. Especially since you have to park in a garage over a block away....you can't carry everything you need. If you are traveling with children, there is nothing convenient about this place. If you are traveling for romantic getaway....GO ELSEWHERE. I will NEVER return to this hotel.
