Pros: the motel is in a great location, being in close proximity to many things, including River Street. Fairly updated and clean. Cons: Only 2 towels provided for 4 guests when housekeeping would change bedding. Parking was $30 daily. The rooms are fairly small. The bathroom light switch is on the outside of the bath room and not inside, which was inconvenient and somewhat odd. Bathroom double doors don’t leave much for privacy. The shower drain was somewhat clogged and slow to drain. Had to reset the AC unit as it shorted at some point during the day and room was warm when we returned from an outing. Although free, some of the breakfast food was downright awful. I’d stick to eating the grains rather than proteins or cooked items (aside from waffles) Overall, it’s what you’d expect for a cheaper motel. We’re only there to sleep and the kiddos enjoyed the pool (which is small) , so it wasn’t the worst in the world.

The hotel is awful, the first thing I see is mice outside the front desk. Our room was filthy, black gunk on the walls of the bathroom, the app won't let me add pictures (I truly hope it wasn't mold). No bath towels in the room and no blankets on the beds? I had to ask the front clerk where we park and which way our room was. She's really seemed rather annoyed that I had never been to the hotel before and was not familiar with the layout. With the lack of cleanliness and service and having to ask for towels and bedding and wondering if they actually cleaned the room, there was very little time to relax while on vacation with my family. The only thing I can say is the location is wonderful and that is what you pay for. I was glad a very fancy hotel was right across the street as that is the only way I felt safe in the parking lot. If you don't care about clean rooms or having to get your own towels and bedding this place is for you.

The staff was friendly and as nice as could be! The room door lock was broken, the shampoo and conditioner were empty in the shower. During the evening, I did not feel safe walking with my children in the stair wells due to people lingering around. The breakfast in the morning was very limited, dry and unappealing. For the price I paid for this one nights stay, I would rather pay more or drive further for something that was better. Very sad for this hotel.

Was really looking forward to visiting Savannah. Hotel was in a good location in proximity to downtown, restaurants and shops. It was updated; however, bed was lumpy-especially on edge and sadly, rooms were not within a hallway/corridor so they were open to outside and extremely noisy. Friday night a spring break started which brought a bunch of noisy rowdy college kids everywhere. The noise continued until 2 am; worst night I have ever had in a hotel. Breakfast was good when the staff could keep up with replenishing food. Savannah is a city full of history and fun to visit. Our stay would have been wonderful if not for noise from college kids.

I am so disappointed in the management of this hotel. My daughter and I stayed 4 nights total. 2 nights were fine but the Friday and Saturday nights included wild, loud teenagers running and screaming through the hotel, cars driving by with extremely loud radios with vibrations causing our room windows to rattle and multiple car alarms to go off all night long No Sleep at all. Saturday morning I informed the young man at front desk and he said he would have his manager contact me but no response from the manager. Saturday night same reckless behavior from these kids. Called hotel security and he did not seem to even know or hear these loud commotions. Loud again all night. What is that all about. Either you have security or you don’t. No sleep again. Sunday morning told young man at desk and he again said he would tell manager to contact me. It has been now 8 days since I am back home and no response. Have requested my money back for the 2 miserable nights. So dissatisfied. The cleaning staff and kitchen staff were good.

We booked for 2 nights 3 rooms for a family of 10 people. Kids got sick after one night and requested hotel and Expedia to cancel the second night stay. Though we have requested the concern was not addressed and charged for 2 nights. We are very unhappy with the response

We just loved the personnel and staff that helped us check in and check out, especially Tito, the housekeeper that gave us extra bedding when we were cold at night for our little infant. Paragraph he was so kind and considerate, as were the personnel and staff from start to finish. I can’t remember their names, but they were exceptional. This was our second time staying there, and it did not disappoint! We sincerely look forward to staying here again in the future!

When my niece checked in her room was not clean and had an odor to it. She took it upon herself to go by Lysol and wipes to wipe everything down. She brought it to their attention and they did nothing. At 9:30 at night she went to the office and had someone check her room out and they finally moved her into another room. She had a baby that had to be woken up and had to haul all her stuff. The guy was not compassionate at all. I feel I should have been compensated for the room for the night for all her inconvenience. And your 30.00 a night fee to park is totally insane when most others charge like 7.00. Been very disappointed with your hotel this trip

We got there late, around 10pm. The girl at the desk wouldn’t even look up and acknowledge me, as the door was locked. She finally acknowledged us and was super rude and bothered. There were no parking spots but we were told there were and drove around looking until we had to go back in to the lovely lady and inform her. She told us to park in a random lot next door. We set our cooler on the car and within 3 minutes it disappeared, someone stole it. Hope they enjoy that lemonade and Dr Pepper. The room stunk like roach spray, a giant roach crawled right out from under the bed right after we got there, so I guess that didn’t work. The toilet was still dirty and needed wiped off. The back alley which we faced was super noisy, which perhaps we should’ve known, so close to river st. The next day we went to use the pool and the housekeeping let us in and was super nice. When we went again later and also couldn’t get in we went to the front desk and once again another evening worker was super rude about us getting in the pool and treated us like we were idiots for asking her a question. All she had to say was that there was another entrance but instead talked down to us and acted super inconvenienced by us. The pool was dirty but wasn’t busy and probably the only somewhat enjoyable part of the stay. The entire family couldn’t wait to leave. If you’d like to be treated like your an idiot and your needs are a giant burden to staff then this is the place for you.

The staff was amazing. Mary (Concierge) was helpful and had suggestions for us. Other staff was friendly, we enjoyed talking with John Earl and Tia was great. Bridgett and Val, and Eric too. The room was updated and Very nice, clean. Our only disappointment was the pool area, which is off to the side of property, but encased by brick walls for privacy. The Lounge chairs were very old and dingy. The pool are needs to be updated. We also had problems with neighborhood kids (non paying unregistered quests) jumping and wall and we would find them in the pool. (Once in their underware so we new they didnt belong there) Eric told us if that ever happened to let him know and desk person did come to chase them out. Because of this ongoing problem the pool lock did not unlock with our keycard and we had to ask them to open the pool whenever we wanted to use it. I feel was their attempt to keep the kids out….they try. The free breakfast buffet was very very good….lots of choices and always hot and dining are was pleasant and always very clean. I would stay again next time in Savannah.
