Staff here is pretty good and location is as well, as far as everything else this place falls way short, juts simple things. You offer me a complementary bottle of wine when I check in but want me to pay for water @ 2.50 each, you have a historic building and then you cheapened it up by making it look "ikea'ed" to death with chrome fixtures and cheap furniture. the floors were filthy, the craftsmanship of the renovation was poor at best. I still cannot past charging people to "park" at a hotel you are staying at, when you use an off site parking "valet" service. Make no sense to me, Hilton does this also, is a crude way of getting more $$$ out of you. If I had not gotten a nearly 40% rate on this site there is no way I would ever pay over $300 might for this place way over priced. Simple things make a difference. Try installing full size toilets and not the junior cadet versions in the restrooms in the rooms. Balconies just a hint when you ask me to pay for a 24" x 36" area and call it a "balcony" where two people cannot stand with no chairs, or table etc. that just yells rip -off on rates. Like I said simple things made this place look very cheaply thrown together, in a Historic setting, ghastly would be a better vision.
