SpringHill Suites Los Angeles LAX/Manhattan Beach

We stayed one night with three kids. The air conditioner didn’t work in the entire hall, one elevator didn’t work, no conditioner in the bathroom, very dirty carpet in the room. Old building. The person of the hotel did not care about providing the good services. Don’t recommend! Parking extra $24.

I had a great stay with my family here. The room was clean and spacious enough for a pack and play. The kids had a blast, especially thanks to the hot tub. The breakfast had a good selection for everyone in my family. Would stay here again.

I like that it close to freeway, centrally located, close to shopping center and Dining. The breakfast can be better other than that my family and I enjoyed our stay.

I stayed here with my kids. The facility was good and the housekeeping staff were amazing. The parking was easy and I feel like all spots were close to the building. The poor rating is because the staff at the front and desk and security were horrible. I was with 2 kids 12 and 13. The room next to us was engaged in really loud sex for hours during the night. It was a group of people. I called the front desk repeatedly with no answer. I went to the front desk and at the front desk was a security guard and front desk reception person. The front desk worker was busy so I asked the security guard for a side conversation and asked if I could talk to him in private and he was reluctant. I was trying to explain the situation without everyone around me hearing that there was a room “having really loud sex and keeping my kids and I up for hours.” He did not want to have a private conversation so I just said it at the front desk. He said he would check it out. I left. The loud sex continued. I went back to the front desk. The security guard had not done anything. I then explained to the front desk worker and security guard again. It was embarrassing. I asked the female front desk worker for a room change. She said no without even looking at availability, just looked at me. They called the room. Of course there was no answer. They said they would take care of it. Then the security guard did go knock on the door. I couldn’t wait to leave the next day.

Travelled with my family Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Our only complaint is that the suite room is small.

Everything was good, up until our last day. Check-out was supposed to be at 12pm. But at 10 am, we were interrupted because of maintenance for the television (?). I told them we were getting ready to check out at 12, but they insisted on coming in. I said to give us 30 minutes and we'll be out. I had 3 teenagers under 18, one in the shower and one changing clothes but they were persistent with doing their work. This pissed me off. We (the guest) should have been told ahead of time that maintenance was going to be done. I don't want strangers in our room, with our belongings everywhere and my kids half naked. The company should have known our schedule to check out and waited. I am sure they had other rooms to service. Why not start with the empty rooms. Go to the front desk and ask which rooms were vacant!
