The Belamar Hotel Manhattan Beach, Tapestry by Hilton

Staff at the Belamar was top notch the entire trip. Valet staff was very friendly and very quick, put up with my family coming and going all weekend with a smile. Front desk was great, answered any questions i had and was kind enough to keep our luggage stored for us so we could spend one last morning at the beach without the hassle. I would, and have, recommend to everybody travelling as a family

This is a great hotel. The beds are comfortable! We had 4 kids with us and saw no other kids.. not even in the are, especially FOUR lol. So, for us it wasn’t exactly “kid friendly” but the restaurant upstairs went out of their way to make our experience great! The staff was great, the room was clean, the outside was beautiful and perfect pool and jacuzzi. If we were ever in the area again, we would stay there.

It doesn't look like the pictures. The beds are so small. No microwave. I needed to microwave my babies food and kindly asked the front desk and they said they didn't have a microwave anywhere, highly doubt it.

Tiffany at the front desk was extremely helpful and friendly. She made changes to our accommodations so that our family would be more comfortable.

I wanted to try a new Hotel for Fathers Day because the kids love the pool but love a jacuzzi even more.. The hotel had a bit of highs and lows.. The pool and jacuzzi were ok, they had all this room outside by the pool to have more a play area for everyone. The bar/Resturant was pretty good with great drinks. I was really unhappy with the bed, it was horrible..

Worse experience. Had a late check in, I let the hotel know. They say they posted it in on my room. I get there a little later than what I said but still showed up, no call from the hotel, they cancelled my room as a no call no show and refused my family stay. Then when trying to speak with a supervisor, they denied me. Now the hotel and Hotels.com is refusing to do anything. Even though, on the email it say check in at anytime and if you’re going to be late to call. I called and me and family were stuck in California with no room, nowhere to change, and they couldn’t care any less about there customers or their safety. I even offered to extend the stay one more day and nothing. I WILL NEVER BOOK WITH THE BELEMAR HOTEL EVER AGAIN!! Or even Hotels.com if they don’t come up with a solution. My family and I were without a hotel our whole trip which was very hard and trying because we were not from that state. And if you know about Los Angeles it is not the safest place to keep all your belonging in a car because of all the robberies. So it was a really tough time.

The hotel has a great location and the staff were friendly and helpful, which was a saving grace. Unfortunately, things the staff couldn't control were the dirty conditions of the carpets (despite having a cleaning co. in while we were there, the carpets are heavily stained and just need to be replaced) and the water was turned off twice during our 3 night stay. Lastly, the vintage feel of the hotel was appealing and we could understand the theme, however, the barbie-like photos on every wall was off-putting. Truly the kids thought the photos were "creepy" and it seems like a worthy investment to find a different vintage artwork theme than being bombarded with barbie baby-doll images at every turn. Really off-putting.

Great location for us as we were visiting family. Easy access. Friendly staff
