Amazing staff, very attentive, extremely helpful! My kids had an amazing time! Would highly recommend this place! Needless to say, this will be our go-to hotel from now on!

The pool was heated which the kids loved it was quiet. The food place closed at 10 PM. The wifi didn’t work. The bed was super hard could barely sleep. There was no lock on the bathroom door or fan in the bathroom.

Great place for families, lots of amenities and activities. Very spacious and open on a golf course

What a fantastic property! Me and my 2 kids had a great time staying here. The receptionists were so welcoming at check in and they even upgraded us to a room with balcony overlooking the golf club. The gym was huge and very well equipped, the pool was lovely and they even had a table tennis table and cornhole so my teenagers could entertain themselves. Location was great with walking distance to the shopping centre and easy Uber rides to Manhattan Beach or Hermosa Beach. I would return in a heartbeat!

Amazing stay, great for the family.

What a horrific experience. We arrived at noon and the room wasn't ready, so we asked the hotel to call us when the room was cleaned up. They never did. We came back at 10:00pm, with tired young kids in tow, and got our keys. They didn't work. We went down to the desk again and got another set of the keys that didn't work. When a staff member opened the door for us with the master key, we saw that our room had not been made up. The bed was a mess, there were used towels thrown all over the place. The staff member said he'd bring up working keys and get housekeeping the clean the room. He never came back. Twenty minutes later, we called the front desk and they said housekeeping had already been dispatched. When I complained that we were waiting with young kids, they sarcastically said, "I'll dispatch them again." I waited another 20 minutes. Someone from housekeeping walked down the hall to another room, and I asked of help, but they disappeared and didn't return. 30 minutes later I walked down to the front desk getting pretty upset. Someone from the front desk said they'd personally walk over to housekeeping and ask someone to help. I went back to the room and continued to wait. More than an hour after we entered a dirty room that hadn't been housecleaned, someone finally came to clean the room. Our kids were able to get to sleep around midnight. I can totally understand and forgive a mistake... what frustrated me is one staff member after another who seemed just not to care.

Overall a bit disapointed. We were moved from the top floor upon checking, the roof was leaking all the way down the hallway and the room smelled like smoke. Ask for a lower floor. Our next room was better but had butterfly confetti from a previous guest in the carpet and bathroom. Lighting is dim and little storage. This is an older hotel that has been updated, the sound issues were noticeable (there is no seal around the main door). The parking is expensive. We had no water the last night and no hot water in the morning. Traveling with kids, we found this frustrating. The ping pong and games tables were a bonus but not enough to make up for the rest of our stay. We did speak to management at check out and were offered an apology. We enjoyed the area but will look elsewhere next visit.

Great place to stay with family the food from restaurant was good and the bar is well stocked the employees were very attentive and made it better One negative thing that happened was that they overbooked and after a long day we just wanted our room that we booked well in advance and it was not available they downgraded our room a bit disappointed about that they did have us a small discount and free parking to make up for it with out me asking for anything I will stay here again with the family but will try to check in sooner to avoid that

The Westdrift is a 3 star trying to act like 4 star. The service was very inconsistent and 'downtown pricing' for food and parking seems means there is little value for the high rates. The good.. -location -very comfortable beds -nice decor The bad.. -$40 parking - excessive for suburban hotel -the water pressure is anemic at best -the walls are paper thin, we had a door for a shared room and could hear every word of the neighbor's conversation -the bar staff were very friendly. -the valet staff were very unfriendly. 4 of us arrived with bags at 10pm and the valet did not offer help or to park. I asked directions to self-park and he told me the directions. I was surprised when I walked back that my wife and kids and all our bags were still sitting at the curb and the valet was immersed in some paperwork at his stand (there were maybe 10 cars in the valet and nobody waiting)...the check in team were not overly welcoming either...The second night we returned he didn't so much as look up from his paperwork when we entered the lobby - again...empty valet lot and nobody or cars in lobby. I am by no means a prima donna and don't ever demand white glove service...but westdrift should reconsider the front-line of the hotel if they want to establish a premium offering or reduce their pricing to be inline with the offering.

Called to confirm bathtub in room. Staff said yes. Then there's no bathtub in room because only queen beds room has bathtub and we needed a king size bed room for play area with baby.
