Hilton Garden Inn LAX El Segundo

They renewed the facility, more modern and clean than last year. Enjoyed the stay with little kids.

Staff was incredibly rude. Property is undergoing major renovations and it was not shared until after we paid for our room that the renovations meant on-site dining was not available. I asked to be refunded to stay somewhere else as I have 2 small children and we were coming off of a very long trip. This was refused. Staff should be alerting guests to these types of changes prior to accepting payments. We booked this hotel in January and did not receive any notification that there were going to be renovations starting in March. I did look through the property information after this occurred and found the reno information listed under the Policies section. I cannot be certain if this was there when we booked, but they have on-site dining is listed in the amenities, even though it is not available. Overall, the staff was incredibly rude and I would not stay here again and would not recommend.

This was a quiet clean stay for my family. My only complaint was that the shuttle left before 6 a.m. so we missed it. We watched it leave at 5:58 a.m. and it would not come back to pick us up. The person working the front counter rolled their eyes at us. We had to call an Uber to get us to the airport on schedule.

For a hotel next to LAX to not open their breakfast area until 7am is not good customer service. At least offer continental items. Also, the shuttle to LAX needs to run more often than every 30 minutes. Know, too, that the shuttle stops at another hotel, which we did not know ahead of time. Lastly, the front desk staff essentially called us late when our family arrived to take the shuttle 8 minutes before the planned departure time. If you wanted us there earlier, then tell us when we sign up for the shuttle. Don’t make guests feel like they made a mistake. Unfriendly.

Stayed overnight after a long international flight with family. Used shuttle service which was very convenient and helpful driver/staffs. Used the airport tranfers again the following day and it was a very pleasant experience. Very helpful driver, ontime schedule. No stress. Thanks

Because of the hotel worker strike, there were no housekeeping services. And, whether it was related to the strike or not, there was literally nowhere to park our entire stay. Had we not had family that lived about 2 miles away where we could leave a car, we would’ve been screwed. Not impressive. Do better.
