Cambria Hotel LAX

It is often that check-in is delayed due to clean-up of the room. Our family waits for one hour to get the room. The manager in the counter gave us free dinner coupon as a sign of apology. I appreciate it.

The staff was very friendly & helpful. The Hangar restaurant was very good. Our kiddos were super excited with the pool!

new property that i had high hopes for. sadly didnt live up to that. pros: - new facility - good location - decent price cons: - poor service, offer 'lite service' option every 3 days, but didnt even do that. - management is rude and not helpful. called the police on our family who arrived after midnight for check in even when they called to say they would be late. what kind of hotel doesnt check people in after midnight when you are next to LAX. - beds already falling apart - $25 parking fee in a city and area where there is miles of parking, they literally use temporary fences to fake limited parking.

We stayed here for proximity to LAX and surrounding area. The hotel served its purpose on a recent family trip to LA area: safe, clean, reasonable price, etc.

We stayed 1 night to be close to LAX for a flight the following day. We arrived just after 6:00pm and 2 out of the 4 rooms we booked were not ready yet so we had to split up on different floors. We were advised that the previous night was a full house so they were not finished cleaning all the rooms yet. When we went to our rooms, they were not very clean - there were crumbs on one counter, and there were cup marks or spill marks on numerous counters which may be stained into the finish but appeared dirty. There needs to be more deep cleaning or re-finishing the counters so it doesn't look dirty. The hotel restaurant is severely understaffed - service was super slow and not friendly but the food was good when it arrived. A brief conversation with the server confirmed that they often only have 1 server and front desk said there was only 1 chef and the restaurant was fairly full which according to the server happens regularly or often even more busy. There were not dining options a short walk away as we were travelling with young kids and had no vehicle but if you want to walk a little further then there are other options. I would not recommend this hotel and would not stay here again.

There is no coffee shop in the facility, had to drive out every morning. The frosted bathroom door design is not family-friendly, as it didn't completely block the view, so it's not recommended for the family with teenagers of boys and girls.

Our family checked in after 2am due to delays at the airport. We were exhausted and thankful that we were able to get room keys and parked quickly. Shower had great pressure/shower head!

Very clean feeling when checking in the hotel itself is good has all amenities you need You can hear sounds in the other rooms The only thing that was disappointing that a group of people were smoking marijuana in the morning right outside on a bench I was there with my kids that wasn’t to pleasant.

Thank you for being a pet friendly hotel. My furbaby enjoyed it and loved the staff 🐶❤
