Wingate by Wyndham - Edmonton West

Customer service was flawless from start to finish! All staff from desk agents to maintenance were engaging and welcoming especially with my toddler The room was clean, modern and very spacious! Beyond what i was expecting for the very reasonable price. Breakfast had a good basic selection, everything was freah and clean, the coffee was excellent. The pool is amazing for kids especially the mushroom and waterslide! The depth is great for littles but there is a bit of a rough hump at the bottom of the slide that i caught my feet on a few times. A $200 debit deposit was acceptable rather than a Credit Card and the funds were immediately refunded. Very convenient location and felt safe. This will be our go to for Edmonton from now!

We stayed at this property while in town for a family reunion. We had four other families from our reunion stay at this hotel also. Upon check in the staff was friendly and advised that they put all our rooms in the same area because they noticed we all had the same last name. This was very nice of them to do considering it was during playoffs and the hotel was packed. Breakfast service was great, lots of options for the kids. The pool was a huge hit with the kids. The water slide was great. Conveniently located near the WEM. Will return.

Very convenient location to my family and also the west Edmonton mall, also a lot of easy fast food restaurants within a minute drive. The pool is nice but it is small… kids going in front of the water slide which is concerning.. but the hot tub was nice! Hot but not too hot just perfect. The staff were very nice and welcoming on check in and check out. Parking was easy.. breakfast gets pretty crowded at certain times but that usually happens at any hotel breakfast. The room was what you’d expect, pretty clean, comfy beds, simply nice bathroom. Fridge didn’t get very cold. But overall I’ll probably be staying here again on my next visit to Edmonton.

It’s good, but a bit grungy. Fun for kiddos!

Our room was okay except, we found food and baby sacks under the couch. And not good insulation we can hear people walking above us room 203. A bot noise.

This is a perfect place for families with small kids who love water slides. The room that we chose was big enough, our toddler slept in the pull-out bed. The facility was clean, you can tell that staff were always available as they had plenty of staff to assist and help as needed.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean but a little dated and could use some repairs. There were children staying above us running in the room or halls for half an hour during quiet time but the front desk staff helped to quiet them down.

Staff is great for the most part. The tvs didnt always work right in the room the cable is chewed up and when we complained the maintenance person just switched to a channel that did work and walked out. Not the staffs fault but seems like no one can follow the rules in the pool 5 teenage kids going down the slide at one time into a small pool with other people in the pool. Otherwise it was a great stay. Cleaning staff always seems busy in a good way but will great you everytime you walk buy and help with extra things for the room.

Waterslide was a big hit with the kids. Friendly staff
