River Cree Resort and Casino

Upon or designated arrival time we stuggled to find parking anywheres close to the hotel. We require handicap parking and there was no options. We attempted to go swimming but the pool was very small and over filled with kids. Since the area is so confined the screams were amplified dramatically so this wasnt an option to do. We then went up to our room and by 11:00 some very intoxicated people began yelling and fighting. We felt very unsafe and called security. They broke up the fight but didn't tell us if we were safe to come out so we couldnt leave and go to the casino. This was part of why we booked at this hotel. We left in the morning the elevators smelled like dirty mop. We checked out and tried to tell the guy about our experience and he offered us an upgrade next time we come or free breakfast. Am vegan cant eat there. And theres no way in the world we will return there. So left with great disappointment.

The staff is always excellent and the room was clean and comfortable. Housecleaning was great. Parking is so convenient, especially for a truck. The pool could use a refresh, it’s looking a bit dingy. The Kitchen restaurant was trying hard, but the two times we dined there it was just ok-kitchen issue with hood fans. We wish the kids could have gone to Italia.

We were very disappointed this time staying at the River Cree Hotel. We stay here all of the time and always have enjoyed our stays being able to enjoy the restaurants in the casino. On this particular stay, it was really bad. There were people smoking in the rooms on our floor. Clearly our floor was a party floor, smelled badly of cigarette and weed. At 3am we had people come knocking on our door looking for a party thinking it was somebody else’s room. We later heard them upstairs, laughing about the situation. The smell in the hallway was disgusting. I did call down to the front desk and they did apologize and said that they would try to find out who was smoking. There were people yelling at all hours and kids screaming, and overall the stay was not great. When we tried to get coffee and some snacks in the morning at the Starbucks. It was clear that they were very understaffed. The lady didn’t even acknowledge me. I stood in line for several minutes while she attempted to try to make people coffee, and I was just purchasing a fruit cup, and a juice, however was not acknowledged, so I walked out. It’s disappointing that they are not staffing these areas properly in order to ensure customers get service.

Nice resort. I was told they'd clear all the kid's from the pool area at 10pm. Allowing the adult guests 1 hour without minors . Unfortunately that never happened. 😕

Very nice Expensive Buffet was great $50 p/p $25 per child Would stay again!

No vending machines available. Not very much children can do. Restaurants are mostly on casino side.

Pet's not allowed for those that have a family pet

The hotel hallways are noisy. Rooms are not sound proof. We stayed three nights and were woken each night. One night there was a huge argument and screaming and banging that even security was brought in at 4:00am. Alot of children running around unsupervised. Casino slots all have reserved signs on them. I travel 4 hours by plane to look at a bunch of machines reserved. I spend alot in the casino and cannot even get a soft drink without paying for it? Resort is ok but does need some looking into with policies and procedures.

We were on the 2nd floor..our view was a concrete wall. Good thing we were only there for the night. Not unless you have small children i recommend you not to stay on this floor as this is where the pool is located. Very loud.
