Best Western Plus Lytle Inn & Suites

We drove to Texas from Florida to move into our new home and needed a place to stay the night before closing. We searched "pet friendly" hotels on hotels.com because our family pet, "Tuesday" the dog, was with us. Best Western was the closest hotel and very specifically highlighted the fact that it was pet friendly. When we arrived and went to check-in, they informed us that the hotel was in fact NOT pet friendly. No big deal, BUT, the hotel refused to refund us our money, roughly $130. We called hotels.com AND the hotel several times, both playing the "blame game" on each other, ultimately landing on the fact that the decision was up to the hotel and they firmly refused, even though we were never able to check-in and had only booked the hotel 10-15 mins prior to arriving (meaning that we did not prevent them from selling the room to anyone else and then cancel last min). I screenshotted the hotel description reflecting that it was pet friendly (on hotels.com) and disputed the charge with my bank. Absolutely TERRIBLE customer service here. Pretty disappointing being that they were one of the newer hotels in Lytle. I would suggest renting an airbnb instead.

It was good to go and visit family, it was not to far from where we needed to go.

Great safe private location, rooms were clean, staff were friendly. The hotel manager was a HUGE disappointment! We stayed 4 nights for a family wedding. My sister arranged gift bags for several family members staying at the hotel, and entrusted them to the hotel manager. It appears that the manager did not distribute some/all of the bags. My sister was very upset! They filed a ticket with Best Western, but it sounds like it got ignored. Shameful, might need to find another hotel chain going forward.

Exceptional stay while seeing family in Devine Tx. It was clean, comfortable and quiet. Employees were very accommodating and friendly. Good breakfast in the morning. Loved the Texas shaped waffles.

As always, superb hotel. We are willing to drive the extra 25 minutes to Lytle when we visit San Antonio, considering we have hundreds of options in the bigger city; this should say it all. My family and I are always happy to be back to Best Western Plus-Lytle.

Room and hotel was kept very clean. Pool area was nice and we were able to use patio area in evening to sit and talk with family.
