Best Western Plus Elmendorf Hotel

Awful awful property. Room was dirty and smelled like a dirty ashtray. Then toilet wouldn’t flush… my husband went and got a plunger and tried but it wouldn’t work. Both our kiddos were asleep at this time so their solution was to either use the bathroom on the first floor or they could come in our room at 940pm to try and auger out the toilet. Went to speak to the manager who works mornings… she rolled in 5 min late with her dog and proceeded to go to the breakfast area with her dog to get it food from the breakfast that morning. Then after waiting for her to start her day (15 minutes late at this point) her only answer was to go on hotels.com and request a partial refund and “ she will approve it”….

The hotel stay was above expectations. From the cleanliness to the food to the attentive staff, everything was great from the moment my family and I walked in. The bedrooms are kept clean and very cozy. Breakfast was great and diverse and the hotel was within driving distance of everywhere we wanted to go.

Check in was fast. We were greated by April at front desk. Made us feel at home. All staff very friendly and courteous. Sure helped , we had a long drive and needed a good place to stay. Clean and family oriented hotel.

We stayed eight days while on vacation. We really enyoyed the breakfasts. They provide refried beans and tortillas on multiple days along with eggs, hashbrowns, and waffles. Every one was friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and fixtures in good repair. The kitchenette with a fridge and microwave was great for preparing simple meals when we didn't want to go out. We will definitely stay there again the next time we visit family in the area!
