Fairfield Inn & Suites Harrisburg Hershey

We traveled to the area for our family vacation. It was us along with our children and grandchildren….the hotel was amazing…..from the friendly staff all the way to the beautifully renovated hotel!!!

Family trip to Hershey Park and stayed here the last 2 years. 1st, the staff… In todays climate, It’s very nice to see employees take pride in their job and provide stellar customer service. They were all very friendly and accommodating to anything and everything needed. 2nd, the rooms… Very clean. Beds are comfortable. Fridge and microwave are great! Family of 6 so heating up hibachi leftovers one day saved me about $100!! 3rd, pool & hot tub… very clean area. Kids absolutely love it. a lot of time to swim being open from 7am to 10pm. 4th, breakfast… their breakfast buffet is top notch!! Eggs, meats, waffle maker, pastry’s, oatmeal/cereal, etc… you cannot beat it. It’s worth the stay just for this! Again, a family of 6, staying 2 nights here saves me $150. Overall, we are very pleased with this hotel and can’t wait to return next year!!

Good location near lots of restaurants and highways. We were there for a soccer tournament with a dozen 11-year old boys. We didn't like that a homeless person was camped out very close to the property for both nights but understand the hotel may not be able to do anything about it. Staff was very friendly but there seemed to be some technical issues with rooms and a big renovation is beginning soon it seems. If not for the friendly and helpful staff i'd be more bothered by some of the inconveniences, but really it was clean and fine - although dated. I'm sure that's why they are beginning to renovate. The free breakfast was a nice way for the families to start the day.

Visiting family and friends. Convenient location.

I booked this hotel for our one night stay in Hershey, we visited Chocolate World and Hershey Gardens. We were excited about the location til they couldnt find our reservation. We were at the wrong Fairfield, my bad. The Fairfield Harrisburg Hershey was about 10 miles/15 - 20 mins away from the closer Fairfield we went to by mistake.. Wasnt a bad distance but we wished we reserved the closer one as we were back and forth a few times. That said, the Harrisburg-Hershey location was nice and clean. Very polite/efficient check in, the room was nice and clean. Breakfast was included and good. Only negatives i can think of were the small indoor pool water looked cloudy (the kids said yuk at first sight) and no blow dryer in the room, i prob couldve asked for one. And i hate how hotels give u the overstuffed bed pillows which are way too high if youre short and give u a neck ache. Other than that it was a nice stay in nice area next to a shopping strip with a grocery store, McDonalds etc. The hotel was quiet even with a large wedding group staying there.

The rooms were nuce and clean. It was great for a family.

Great place for families!

Arrived at 3:15pm. Was told room was not ready…ok no problem. 10 minutes go by…20…30….almost an hour later room STILL not ready. My husband and I have three young children. Imagine waiting in a hire lobby for an hour after being in a car for 4+ hours. The man at the check in desk was not helpful at all. Didn’t offer us to wait in a room while ours was being cleaned. It was only till I told him to give me whatever room available that we were finally able to get in a hotel room to relax. Poor hospitality. And also, if check out is at 11am and check in is at 3pm, what is housekeeping doing for 4 hours that rooms are not ready in time?! We were also one of THREE families waiting for clean rooms upon our arrival. To really unacceptable.
