Excellent stay! Check in was a breeze and we're welcomed with a small gift bag with goodies for the eclipse. We booked a suite room which was spacious, clean, and comfy beds. The sofa bed was brand new and my children slept well. The breakfast offered a variety of food to please the pickiest of eaters. We enjoyed the pool everyday. The hotel was an excellent location close driving distance to restaurants, shops, and downtown Rochester.

We were excited to stay in a new property. Unfortunately, newer does not mean better. The walls and ceiling are so thin you could hear everything, we woke up at the crack of dawn to loud nonstop thumping above us. We were moved down a floor, and our new room had a pile of someone’s clipped (toe?)nails on the floor next to the bed! They vacuumed it up, and we left for the day. We returned in the evening to relax and watch a movie, only to find that our TV was not working and could not be fixed until
the next day. Also, the pool was closed down for two days, but even after it was reopened, the water is cloudy and murky. Absolutely not swimmable. This is not the hotel to stay in if you are looking to relax. It is one nuisance after another, and the pool is definitely unusable. We moved to a nearby hotel after which we were thankfully able to recover, sleep, swim, and enjoy the remainder of our trip with family.

It was clean smelled clean decorated nicely as well. I went to get a night to myself to sleep and I definitely did that. Only problem was the kids screaming and running but what do you expect they were there for fun and my kids would’ve did the same lol also parking kinda sucked they had a bunch of spectrum trucks there

The hotel was short staffed when we checked in and we had to wait 30 minutes. But that staff was very apologetic and offered us snacks and drinks while we waited. We would definitely stay at the hotel again. Rooms were very clean and the kids loved the pool.

This is our second time staying at a Home2Suites. It’s a great moderate price option for families when traveling for gymnastics meets etc. Rooms are spacious and have a full sized fridge, microwave, sink and dishwasher (which we didn’t need). Beds are comfortable, sheets clean and soft, nice pillows, plenty of storage. Breakfast is meh but it’s free, no complaints.

We chose this property because it was new and right in between family and destinations. Highly recommend and breakfast is above average!

The room was a great size for our large family. We loved how dog-friendly this hotel was! Sadly, the sofa bed frame was bent, so my teens used the mattress on the floor. When we needed an extra blanket, the front desk provided one that was slightly wet from the dryer, but we made due with the other blankets in the room. The breakfast had good options, but when we arrived at 9:20am on Sunday, the pickings were few. Several hotel guests asked for more food to be prepared and were met with pushback from the hospitality providers. I witnessed two arguments between staff and guests.
