Great stay. Right in the heart of the city. Convenient to downtown restaurants and the Strong Museum of Play which I highly recommend....super fun for adults and kids alike!

Service was amazing, quick to reply via text. Shuttle was also quick and convenient. Very nice driver, made suggestions along the short drive. Room was spacious and great for our family of 4 (with 2 young children). Bed and washroom were clean. Shower pressure could be better and towels could be more soft and comfortable but otherwise, great stay!

We stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn for 4 nights in a suite. For the price that we paid, I found the experience pretty bad. Parking - It's in a separate structure next door with no direct access into the hotel. This made it hard to unload and get to with our small kids. The parking was also unsafe as at one point someone was throwing large concrete blocks off the top floor! We had to pay $10 a night for unsafe and very inconvenient parking. Pool area wasn't great. The water fountain in the pool area was disgusting and rusted and the overall space was dark and not inviting. Rooms were worn down. Carpets were dirty looking, not much in terms of bathroom amenities and everything was chipped or cracked. We had one small window that looked out into the middle of the hotel - so no natural light. Service wasn't great. We asked for our room to be cleaned and new towels first thing in the morning and they never came. When we called them when we returned to the room with nothing clean they said the housekeeping staff had gone home and nothing can be done. My husband had to go downstairs and pick up our own new towels. Location isn't easy to get to. You can't stop in the front of the hotel and you have to take this one-way side street. We asked if there were any July 4th activities, and they didn't have much in terms of suggestions so we just did our own online research. With such a big holiday you'd expect the staff to have some suggestions. We likely won't stay there again.
