Hyatt Place Niagara Falls

I know my experience prob isn’t the norm- so keep that in mind. We checked in smoothly with friendly staff. Took our 1000 things to our room with my family. Used the key to open the door...and people are in it. How embarrassing! So, lugged our 1000 things back down. Explained what happened. A manager or supervisor was already there thankfully to handle this. The hotel overbooked the 2 queen rooms. Bummer...but they provided 2 rooms with kings next to each other. No connecting rooms. Ok great, travel back up to the new rooms. 1 room was fine. The other smelled like BO bad,crumbs all over the ottoman, sand or something all over desk chair, sticky drink rings all over desk...my kids immediately locked themselves out so i had to go down to get another key. I used this time to tell them about the room i was in. I did not choose to move and declined for someone to go clean it(how uncomfortable we would all feel watching them do what was suppose to be done before) I did ask for clorox wipes so i could deal with most of it. They did give me some. This was all very annoying. I was there for the night only.

For the most part we enjoyed our stay. Location was perfect, very short distance from the park/falls and restaurants. The beds were comfortable but could use more cozy blankets. The layout of the room was nice having two queen beds and a small separator for the sofa bed was nice to provide the kids their own space. The hotel itself seems kind of small and crammed at times. Pool was nice but a bit cold and the staff were friendly enough but often times not readily available to you. We never had any kind of cleaning type service and weren’t even given new towels after a couple days, or had the room cleaned. Maybe they don’t do that unless requested. All in all, for a short stay I recommend.

Excellent hotel for families. Very easy to get to the park and restaurants. Comfortable and clean room.

Beautiful new hotel but no parking - the public lot is across the street and down a bit and validated at hotel. The parking lot is sooo disgusting it smelled like urine, feces and weed all at the same time. I had to keep the kids in the room while my husband and I dropped off the car. Good thing they are old enough and I had someone to walk with - we didn’t see anyone but the urine and feces marks were everywhere

Our placememt was on a floor with young families. The parents allowed their kids to race up and down the hall several times with no respect for other guests. The bathrooms was not well stocked. The heat was not working in one of the 2 rooms we booked and there were no comforters available. I appreciate the concierge he was absolutely amazing and brought us some extra blankets. Corporate should implement strategies to support their staff with these kinds of situations.perhaps additional staff periodically checking the floors for this behaviour.

Our room did not have towels, soap or shampoo. Had to call down and request the items. Kitchen staff was not happy and rude in the morning regarding breakfast. I booked this property 2 days in advance and before check in a family in front of us paid 40$ less than we did and they just showed up . So booking this hotel through Expedia is not the best rate. Very disappointed for Gold member status.

The hotel was nice and the front desk staff was great at check in. Unfortunately, my husband and kids were yelled at and scolded by an employee of the hotel during breakfast when they reached for a biscuit in the buffet line. The employee was very abrasive towards them making a very uncomfortable experience for us. She had a very unprofessional outburst towards them and even said “in America we use tongs”.

Great Hotel for family vacation. Perfect location.

From the beginning it was a horrible experience I had to be switched rooms they gave me the wrong room when I checked in the room they put me in was gross to shower was dirty there was blood in the sink there was mold on the wood cracked on the side of the vanity the bed Head stains gross falling apart supposed to be a heated salt pool was not heated was cold as heck got in and right back out a buffet breakfast complimentary the eggs had to be taken away cuz someone touched them they said the pancakes were gone by 8:00 they were too busy to make more will not be staying with this hotel again...kids we're not happy I could have rented a room across the street for hundred dollars cheaper because the amenities i paid for were not available then had to pay to park in garage across street was only Park option

Very clean place. My kids loved the place
