Comfort Inn The Pointe

Terrible place! Well located but the hotel is horrible! Dirty, unpleasant, it smells bad. It really wasn't a good experience for me or my family! For the same price you can go to a hotel with a good location and good conditions! I think it's the worst hotel I've ever been able to stay in my life.

We couldn’t have asked for a better location for our stay. I was travelling with kids and mum ( who is in a wheelchair). Staying just outside the Niagara Falls state park made everything super accessible. It was a 5 min walk to the falls, maid of the mist, anchor bar and the Discover Niagara trolley stop. The place was clean, breakfast was basic but enough options to fill you up and kids loved their brownie treats every evening. The staff were lovely too!

We booked this location because it had pictures in the description with a pool and hot tub Upon checking in and asking where the pool was I was informed that they have another property and use the pictures from that hotel. Try timer to five young children who were planning on swimming!

The very best feature of this property is its proximity to the Falls. You can literally end up at the NF state park in just a few steps! Other positives: WiFi is super convenient and there is a free breakfast that provided juice, coffee, waffles, eggs, oatmeal, and pastries (not much in the way of fruit or yogurt like other nearby locations). At least some of the rooms had bathtubs (nice to soak after long walks along the Niagara River). Rooms were clean, and there was fresh water available. In the morning there was a wonderful guide who provided all kinds of great intel on things to do with various ages/stages families! The beds were very comfy! Negatives: my sons and I witnessed a drug deal go down, also just outside the property. Various members of the staff are smokers, which is fine, except they took their smoke breaks just outside the main entry. So-so: The gym was a mix of good and eh. It featured one elliptical (decent shape), bicycle (crappy), and treadmill (ok), and one semi-circuit training area for isolated muscle exercises. When we arrived, there was a trash bag filled with pizza boxes, etc, just left near the elevators. It was still there 24 hours later.

Bed comfortable and room quiet. TV did not work and when called the front desk the guy was so rude and not helpful he basically just told me to deal with it because he didn't know what to do and no one on property could help. If I had had kids with me I would have been more mad but as it was he was rude and jerky.

I like the hotel environment. Supportive staff and very neat rooms. My kids were happy to see fall on walking distance

There was only 1 microwave for the whole hotel guests..it would be nice if they have 1 per floor at least and no ice also they have free coffee for adults but none for kids. And very slow internet the .programs on tv keeps.on hanging up. Other than that it was ok

The staff at check in was exceptional. We ended up extending our stay, and the kids locked the keys in the room. Upon asking for a new key at the front desk, the male staff member was rude and made us feel like a bother. Other than that, great experience. The breakfast buffet was great, as well!

My family and I had a great experience. The hotel was clean, inviting, and safe. It's just minutes from the falls, and parking was easy. The continental breakfast was good, and the staff was very attentive, opening another room when busy.

Excellent location. Room carpet was pretty stained and bath tub didn’t look clean. So that was the downside. Breakfast was good and enough food for everyone. We had grandkids with us so walking to everything was excellent. If they got new carpeting in the rooms our rating would be higher.
