Friendly staff, pool was great. Beds are Comfortable. It’s great when they offer an affordable deal for a room, like something under $200 a night. My family really likes staying here.

Given the price (and the website) we believed that we were getting a nice room with at least a view of the Navasink. We ended up in subterranean room ( I kid you not) with a long rectangular window with a view of the base of shrubbery and a broken downspout

I am 77 years old. I have wanted to stay at the Molly Pitcher since I was 7 years old and my father used to drive by it on our way from East Orange to the shore area where my parents would rent a cottage for a week. I finally made it! It was wonderful! The room was smaller than I expected it to be - but everything else about the property was everything I had hoped it to be lo those 70 years ago. I would have visited sooner, but in the interim, I relocated to Florida, had a family, a law career, etc., etc. Thank you, Molly Pitcher, for being everything I had hoped you would be 70 years ago!

First time for a room "in the basement". The room was below grade and smelled it. Dank and musty. The wall mounted air/heat unit was set high in the wall and controls were out of reach for the vertically impaired. Lighting was minimal adding to the basement like feel. View from the window was of the window well keeping the soil out. Bed was comfortable. No information about nearby attractions in the building. The building had no historical appeal. Everything seemed fake and glossed over. The woodwork in the bar was not worth a visit. The concrete and metal steps that led from the underground rooms to the huge patio 2 floors up were falling apart. Safety cones were nearby but not positioned correctly leaving it open for pedestrians. That leaves the well overpriced dining. We ordered 12 different items off the dinner menu. Then I was told that I was given the wrong menu and had to reorder. There was nothing special about the food. Rather bland. It appeared as though it was pre-prepared and heated up. It was just ok. Nothing special. The basic staff (tips) were fine, the "middle managers" were rude. A big fake with condescending attitude. Tasteless. Save your money. Breakfast was underwhelming. Red Bank is a beautiful place, nice views, old buildings, nearby parks. Had a great time with family.
