Bungalow Hotel

Spacious and comfortable for a family of 5 even as they are updating. Having access to the Wave’s amenities was a big plus and allowed us to not have to worry about accessing the beach and outdoor pool. Service was stellar. Would absolutely recommend and stay again!

Great stay for our family and pups.

The hotel was good, mostly clean. Some things in the rooms needed fixing (a loose door in the bathroom, the coffee machine didn't work, etc.). But the rooms are big and great for kids. Overall, we had fun!

Nice clean hotel! staff was very friendly but hard to get a hold of at front desk or over the phone. We liked the access to the sister hotel waves, but it was a little bit of a hike with a kid. Room is huge and clean. Breakfast was pretty basic, but there are plenty of places nearby to eat. Overall really good stay, I would come back but most likely stay at waves. For couples without kids, The bungalow is perfect and close but far enough away from the busy pier village.

Unfortunately our stay here did not live up to our expectations AT ALL. We walked into the lobby to find a bunch of children running around, literally like 20 children, one of which was running around with urine soaked pants. Behind the bar was a father of one of the children. It seemed like they owned the place and were living in the hotel for the off season? The room was nice, great size and very comfortable bed, but the fireplace did not work and you could hear everything from your room. At night we heard running from the floor above us (sounded like a bunch of kids running around) and in the day time, we heard dogs barking from another room. In the morning, we wanted to enjoy the complimentary breakfast but once again the lobby was full of children running around and a family was hanging around by the bar eating bagels. Would I stay here again? Most definitely not. Not at all professional and definitely not worth the price.

Bungalow Hotel is a wonderful place to stay if you’re planning a trip to Long Branch. It located a block from the beach, within walking distance from fabulous restaurants and shops. The room was spotless, amenities awesome, service wonderful, and staff couldn’t be more friendly. Our family enjoyed our stay very much.

When we got to the room wasn’t properly stocked (only 2 towels, no shampoo, etc). It was quite an ordeal to get the proper items that we needed. The phone in the room has no instructions for how to call out so we had to use our cell phones to call the front desk. We had very simple questions about the hotel and surrounding areas several times and the front desk staff would answer with “I don’t know” rather than “let me find out for you”. The luggage carts barely worked and no one offered to help with them. If the other hotel customers didn’t help me with the cart I don’t know how I would have gotten my luggage upstairs. Later, I helped Several other families with their luggage and the cart also because even if there is more than one person around the front desk (there were 3 when I checked in) no one offers to help. They just let you struggle with 2 outer doors (that do not open on their own). It also didn’t feel like the most secure property.

The hotel was very eco-friendly. The room was very big with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths, very roomy for our family and our 2 dogs. It could use some cosmetic work. There was scuff marks on the floor and some touch up painting. In general the room was vey clean and housekeeping was very thorough. We would stay there again.
