After traveling 454 miles for a family reunion we were told we had no room. OVERBOOKED!! We booked one month in advance. We called the hotel halfway there to report traffic was bad and that we were still coming. We were told “no problem”. We just had to arrive by midnight, and we arrived a couple of hours before that. The front desk kept us waiting while they tried to find us a nearby vacancy. Finally they said they had a vacant room that they could clean for us. What happened to “OVERBOOKED”? Thank you for putting us through this Sonesta Tinton Falls. Never again! If you can’t do your primary service properly, you shouldn’t be in that business!

Just a quick overnight stay to visit family in New Jersey. Only compliant was that we did not have enough washclothes or towels for the two of us staying in the room. Front desk was very helpful in getting what we needed.

Easy check-in. Prime location. Cleanliness of property. Microwave and Fridge are a plus. Will def recommend this location to my friends and family.

It’s generally clean. But the pool was closed, the bar opened over an hour late, there were teenage kids lounging all over the common area all day and night and the check-in process was very slow. They charged an extra fee for no reason.

The staff was friendly and helpful when I called to say we would be arriving late, and at check in. The room was clean, but not large enough for the furniture that was in there. The couch bed, when opened, did not leave a space even for our child to shimmy between beds. Also there were no sheets or blankets or pillows for the couch bed that we clearly stated we would be using, and when we asked for them, no pillow case was provided. Also, the walls are paper thin and you can hear other guests and every car that drives by sounds like it is 2 feet away. This would be fine for one or two people. Not great for a couple and a child.
