Country Inn of Hazlet

I read good reviews for this property so decided to stay here when visiting family. I am happy to say the good reviews were all true! In addition to being reasonable in price, the room was spacious, comfortable, very clean, with cute country decor. Staff was very nice. I liked the fact that it was a small inn, and not one of the large chains - it was very quiet (except for some traffic noise from the nearby highway which can't be helped.) This place served our needs very well and I'm already planning to stay here next time. The only drawback is there is no food - you need to go out for all meals - but that is not a big deal.

Lovely family owned hotel, very clean with cozy rooms. Very personable and friendly reception. Highly recommended for anyone staying in Hazlet, NJ.

A true family owned property..warm welcome and top notch cleanliness. Cozy and comfy country rooms with updated baths. Lots of choices for food and shopping close by. Loved our stay. No question we will return!

Confort homelike are a few words to express my experience in this wonderful and family like stay that I was able to experience.

The name should be changed to “Gem 35”. Lol! The Country Inn is a gem because of the ambiance created by the staff who present as family. The display of country furnishings and knickknacks puts you elsewhere and the cordiality and congeniality truly offers that “Small town feel.” Btw, most of the structure is brand new. Clean, neat look and our room was spotless. Make the call. No regrets at this spot. Lastly, Nick, the owner/ operator slammed the rates of the big guns in the hotels locally. I know because I attended a party of 200 out-of-towners during my stay and The Country Inn’s lower price started quite the buzz. Good luck MMcL

We stay here any time we’re visiting family in NJ. Staff is friendly. Rooms are clean and comfortable. It’s not fancy, though it is nice. There is road noise, however it didn’t bother us.
