The staff could not be nicer at this hotel. They were so helpful and friendly. The breakfast wasn’t anything extravagant but it was good and was kept stocked full. The pool and hot tub area was nice and the parking garage felt safe and secure. The rooms were really nice and comfortable. We had a few things we didn’t love such as one of the elevators being out of order. It made for super long waits at time. The pool was also closed before checkout Monday morning. Our 4 year old was devastated and cried most of the day because he didn’t get to go back down there. This also seems minor but the bathroom door has a farmhouse style slider which doesn’t allow an airtight shut and privacy isn’t really a thing. My kids definitely felt uncomfortable when they had to use the bathroom or change. I would definitely book this hotel again based on the room and staff.

Check in was easy. The staff was nice. The jets in the hot tub were filthy! You are a little more than a mile walk to museums, which is a little far if you have kids.

Close to downtown Grand Rapids and very close to hospital. Close to a few restaurants, coffee shop neighborhood bars. Newer hotel with parking clean quiet and nice breakfast. We’ve stayed a few times and will keep going back when we visit family.

So there is no direction that you can not enter the hotel without going into the parking garage. Or no signage showing where you can come in a different door. Finally find out how to get to the lobby get to our room. We paid for 2 queen beds and a sleeper couch. Got to the room it was one king bed and a sleeper couch. They were quick to offer a rollaway bed but we picked a hotel 30 min from everyone else so we could have 3 beds. We go to get around for bed after returning from our event and realize nothing but the king bed has blankets or pillows. We finally get those from the front desk. Overall they made everything right but it was a frustrating start to a quick trip. I felt like i spent more time correcting issues with the hotel than I got to spend with the family we were visiting.

You took out all of the bathtubs and replaced them with showers that have barn doors only. There’s no place to bathe a child and zero privacy. Also parking charges weren’t listed when booking. Re-install bathtubs and put actual doors on the bathrooms or we won’t be back.

Our family stayed in June. Items that were a positive- clean room and lobby; good breakfast selection including good coffee; hot tub was nice; pool was OK only because it was crowded with a local family that came while visiting a family that was staying there; the only complaint was the internet- logs you out and have to log back in. Also- having to pay for parking separately is annoying- would stay here again if in this part of GR.
