Hotel looked very nice but we had a few issues. Our hotel room was not stocked with items we had to request towels, shampoo and toilet paper. Our hotel room was also not cleaned or refreshed our entire stay. The pool was closed which we were bummed about since was one of the things we were most excited for. VERY loud cars would race by the hotel around midnight every night waking up our baby. The continental breakfast was a major downer for us. All 3 mornings it was breakfast tacos with essentially the same items over again. Most of it was stale and tasted old. We were bummed there was no pancakes or waffles. We were actually disappointed in the fact that we had to pay $38 parking everyday we were there. The hotel stay was too much in my opinion especially with all the issues we had and I'm not sure if we would stay here again.

Way less than I expected for a Hilton at this price. The room was advertised city view....which if you think one window looking into a brick Wall in a parking deck it the city.... technically it was. There was no window that saw outside. Also, the place was not clean. There were dishes left in the dishwasher and hair all over. My child actually picked up a hair comb/pick and was carrying it around. We rented a suite for 5 and it came with two wash cloths. Clearly we could have asked for something different,.but when you are traveling with 2 year olds you are just happy to get to your room. Lots of choices in Grand Rapids. I will not choose this one again.

The staff was welcoming and accommodating. We were able to check in early which helped greatly due to us having young kids in our group and an early evening event to get ready for. The furniture in our suite was well worn and need of deep cleaning. We moved the ottoman from the center of the room and that was obviously the first time it had been moved in quite some time. Crumbs from the 90s were under there. Overall a nice, well kept property I would recommend.

We stayed here with our two young children (toddler and infant) and we overall enjoyed our stay! Getting in to the building was a little confusing at first, since it's a shared building, but once we figured out the hotel part of it, it was great! We stayed in a suite, which was spacious, had a fridge/full kitchen for food, and allowed for a separate room for sleeping. We were able to walk around downtown easily too. Would recommend if wanting to stay downtown

I have stayed here several times with my family, and we love your location. It's easy to park or walk anywhere. The room we usually get is a suite with a separate bedroom. It's a good sized room with a small kitchen, which I highly recommend for small kids. Staff have always been very friendly and helpful too. Great location, and lots of yummy food choices close by. We also walked to VanAndel Arena for Monster Jam, which was very close, even in bad weather.

We had an excellent stay! First starting with the check in desk, Angeline helped us. She noticed we had children and upgraded our room at no cost. She took the time to tell us about area attractions and dining ideas. She was so helpful!! The room was absolutely beautiful! Very clean and the view was gorgeous. The floors were “creaky”.. but I prefer creaky wood floors over dirty hotel carpet! The salt water pool was a hit and the Wednesday evening social the hotel puts on with free appetizers and drinks was a great surprise! We also appreciated the parking garage that connected right to the hotel! We don’t have a bad thing to say about our stay here. Would definitely recommend and will be staying again! So much to do within waking distance!

Wonderful accommodations for our family getaway. We adults appreciated the beautifully renovated old building with exposed brick walls and 100 year old polished wood floors. The kids loved the pool and the spacious room. We were upgraded to an even larger suite and it was wonderful! Two bedrooms, two baths, kitchen, and living area. “I could stay here for a week!” our 9 year old said. There was a hot buffet breakfast with enough choice and parking was just around the corner. The front desk receptionist was polite, helpful, and very accommodating.

The rooms are visually appealing and amenities were decent. The hardwood flooring in the room was ridiculously loud, so not the best place to stay if you have kids & want them to sleep. I also think we had what was previously a smoking room, it was super musty and smelled like cigarettes, it was gross.

My friend had just recently had replacement knee surgery, so she & my other friend asked about ADA toilets. The gentleman at the desk did what he could to accommodate us and found up an upgraded room for the trip - at no extra cost. The room was fab. Unfortunately, the toilets still weren't ADA, but at least the shower was good for her. (We did find ADA toilets in the swimming pool restroom. Honestly, hotels have to do better about this. Yes, kids need shorter toilets, but older adults need the higher ones. Maybe provide stepstools for the kiddos, since increasing toilet height is a lot harder!)
