Great Wolf Lodge Illinois

The stay was ok my only complain i guess is no matter how clean the room is you can still smell the nasty humid smell and the water in all the pools is super merky it look dirty. But non the less my kids had a blast. And the fact that everything is so expensive.

I was unable to check in using the kiosk as it could not identify me by email or phone number. I then had to wait in line for help with checking in. After getting a room we attempted to go to the restaurant but we did not receive any service besides getting our drinks after 20 minutes. The restaurant was not busy at all at this time. The waitress was not doing anything besides standing behind the bar and ignored my eye contact. The rooms were not what I expected. The hot water in the shower made a loud noise when turned on. The light flickered off and on. The light in the area by the couch was not working at all. The main lamp wasn't even plugged into the wall. The water park staff was friendly. The Dunkin donuts messed up the order twice food and drinks. Though not a hotel issue but a parent issue is the loud noises of kids running in the hallway well after 11:00 pm. The doors were constantly being opened and closed which were very loud due to the type of door they are. Based on the cost of lodging, dining, and entertainment I would have expected better.

Well stay was good until Tuesday when I got home. Last week I ended up with salmonella and was in hospital for one day and almost died cause of my the infection causing my blood pressure to decrease. I probably won't come there again with my family

Great place for kids and family.

My kids and I had a great time. The water park was amazing and my kids enjoyed playing on the basketball pool.

Alot of activities for the kids to enjoy

Was a nice waterpark but definitely geared more towards the little ones. I have two middle school aged boys. We still had a nice time.

Great place to enjoy with the grandkids over spring break. Everyone had lots of fun and will come back. However, there was a hot water problem in our room. It took a long time to get hot water, it was not very hot and it kept going hot and cold. Would expect to be able to take a hot shower but this was not the case.

We were not informed how to play any of the games. No map of the water park area. Needed a wheelchair to get around. Had to pay for anything you wanted to do. We did not order breakfast as they were $21.00plus for any age person. My grand-daughter is only 4 and eats about 1/2 cup of food per meal and her drink. Our grandson is 6 and could not possibly eat $21.00 of food! We brought breakfast foods with us and then went to a restaurant in town for suppers. The kids loved the Wave Pool!! And, the Lazy River. The only thing free was a pair of Wolf Ears!

Booked a non smoking deluxe family suite. Checked in and the room smelled of smoke. Told front dest, and we were DOWNGRADED to a family suite, without being given a discount. In the midle if the night, i had a diabetic blood sugar crash, and went to the vending machines to get something to eat. The machines wernt working. Stopped at the front dest to ask if I was doing something wrong. She said no, the machine dont always work and have a mind if their own. No good for a diabetic. Other than that everythi g was excellent. We enjoyed our stay very much.
