This isn't a hotel for everyone. It has a pool, sauna and fitness center....but it's only open from 6a-6p M-Th, and 3p on F. No weekends. It's not "kid-friendly." The hotel is located on the 40th floor of an office building in the financial district. You will need to check in at the front desk, go up two elevators, then check in to the hotel. The rooms are very nice and the bed was exceptionally comfortable.

Me and my family booked the king suite. A beautiful corner suite, with a view of west and North of the city. My kids loved it and so did my wife and I. Spacious, a TV on each room and right by the blue line to go to the airport the next day. I would love to stay again.

The hotel room was spacious and clean but the best part was the amazing view of Chicago lake, my kids and I loved it. 10/10

Our stay was ok but very disappointing to find out the pool was closed on the weekend. It was the only reason we got the hotel. Our kids were looking forward to going only for the pool.

The view was amazing. The security staff when we first arrived was pretty rude and rushing. It was our first time at this hotel and we where the one people in line. The rest of the staff was great and very helpful. The security crew for the rest of the trip was also very nice and helpful. The king suite was very big. It felt bigger than my first apartment. Rooms do need some updating. Not the best place to stay with a family.

This hotel was a huge disappointment. You have to take multiple elevators to get to it (it's inside another building). The pool does NOT allow children, and we weren't told beforehand. WHY you would a family be charged a "resort fee" when you are denied access to anything? Our shower didn't work properly and repeatedly blasted us (including our kids) with very hot water. We complained and were told it would be fixed, and then no one did anything. I submitted a complaint on the ipad in the room, nothing. We did receive a message blaming the lack of action on a staff member, saying they would "make it right", then they still did nothing. On top of everything, we found multiple long black hairs in the bathroom, including a clump on the bath rug. They didn't give us enough towels (we had to ask) and didn't clean the room or replenish between nights. I have no idea why this hotel would be recommended by others, it was barely adequate, and for a total of almost $700 for two nights? A total mess.

This hotel is excellent! Since it's in the finance district the building has 24 hour security so it's very safe. The hotel is small, I believe only 22 or 24 rooms so it's very quiet. The city and lake views are amazing. We booked the two room suite as we traveled with our son and his wife. The room was very large and comfortable. It was nice to have the separate bedroom, which we let the kids have since this was their birthday trip. The pull out couch was, surprisingly, very comfortable! The continental breakfast had a nice selection of grab and go food. It's about 6 blocks from the lake front and centrally located between the Shedd Aquarium/Field Museum/Soldier Field area as well as the River Walk and Navy Pier. If we are ever in Chicago again we will definitely stay here.
