Hotel Blake, an Ascend Hotel Collection Member

This was the fourth time I’ve stayed here, and I’ll keep coming back. The location is very handy for families of Columbia College, the rooms are clean, comfortable and well appointed. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, and it’s priced well.

We visited Chicago as part of a family trip. We were very impressed with Hotel Blake. The staff were all friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Our room with 2 queen beds had a spacious main area and bathroom with a glass-door shower and double sink. The location was perfect for us--close to the L trains, Grant and Millennium Parks, and easy access to Museum Campus.

Like 👍 my review! We had a 4 night stay at "Hotel Blake, Ascend Resort Collection" and it exceeded our expectations! Given that this was our first time to Chicago, Illinois, we chose Hotel Blake due to its proximity to several CTA (Chicago Transit Agency) "L" and subway stations for easy sightseeing access, the hotel's solid reviews online, and walkability including more sightseeing in the Loop and a nearby venue hosting a wedding we attended. From check in to check out, we loved the professionalism of the staff. The hotel's beautiful lobby serves coffee and tea in the morning with ice water and infused berry water in the afternoon and evening. The highlight was the room that we had; it was absolutely gorgeous and very comfortable! Although we didn't have a view, we had complete privacy and the black out curtains were excellent for a good night's sleep. The internet was overall good with no issues connecting aside from one of our Windows laptop. The flat screen television was excellent with several channels for us to watch as we woke up, wind down, or hang out. If you are sensitive to light while going to the bathroom in the middle of the night, bring a night light! Although there is no breakfast, there is a nearby restaurant that was really good for pick up or dine in! The gym had a treadmill, Peloton bike, and weights, each with a city view. All in all, we would love to return to Hotel Blake in the future and would highly recommend it to our friends, family, and strangers!

Excellent all around. Hospitality great. Allowed us to check in early, check out late and hold our bags as our flight was later in the day. Clean, updated everything just great. Would recommend to family and friends in a heartbeat
