Canopy by Hilton Chicago Central Loop

Room was in an updated art deco style. This was an add on night due to a family emergency. Wish we had booked this hotel for our week long stay.

I guess I thought I was booking a more high end hotel as that is what this hotels advertises as so that’s why I am rating it poorly. To sum up, no easy parking or valet, no room service, no room amenities (mini bar, snacks, water etc), and poor customer service. The front desk staff acts bothered if you need anything, they give off more of the convenience store clerk vibe, the “gym” wax so small with so little equipment that when I went to try to use it there was one person in there working out and it felt so small that I practically felt we were working out elbow to elbow. We were traveling with family so we got a suite but the bedroom door was missing so it felt just like one room. Also the couch doesn’t pull out into a bed so our teenager had to curl up on a small couch to sleep. I guess I should have known the price was too good to be true because this hotel is a basic budget hotel with a cool name trying to mask as a boutique high end hotel.

The best surprise was that they have baby bliss pro hair dryers in the rooms.

Great and clean room for families to stay :)

This place is Legit. Great remodel. Early check in was no problem. They had wedding parties and baby showers going on near there and beautiful people everywhere. We were there for a White Sox game. Perfect location and easy access to the 94.

Can to visit the SAIC for a tour with my family. The hotel was in a great location we had a great time

My family and I stayed here for three nights. Super quiet, nice decor, great view of Willis Tower. Will definitely stay here again.

This is a great hotel. It is nicely appointed and easy to use. The only drawbacks were: - it's in the financial district which means nothing around it (most restaurants included) is open past about 6PM and not at all on weekends - the walls were a bit thin where we could hear our neighbors talking, their baby crying and them using the light switches (which were surprisingly loud) BUT...that didn't really take much away from our enjoyment. As long as you realize where you are located, this is a great selection for a downtown Chicago trip!
