This hotel was everything we needed and more. Coffee pot, microwave, fridge, iron, hair dryer- and just 700 feet from the Amtrak we came in on. Brown line is a block away. My teen kiddo and i had a great visit and got around Chicago so easily. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast as well. Also appreciated the extra pillow and blanket!

I mistakenly booked this place. I asked for a refund shortly after realizing i had booked this place by accident. They rejected my request for a refund I had to go through the bank to get it reversed so that I could get my money back and get the correct hotel. I was attending the funeral of a relative and needed to stay with family. I have no plans of doing busness with this place in the future. I canceled online and did not stay there. They are still sending emails like nothing happened.

Room was big enough with two queen size beds for the three of us (parents with one kid). The breakfast and especially the service at the breakfast were really good. They had bacon and eggs, bagels and muffins as well as yoghurt, fruits, oatmeal and cereals. The hotel was near Chicago's financial district and you could go to Millenium Park, Mag mile and so on by feet (30 minute walk). Subway was approx. 10 minutes away. The only minus was that the rooms were cleaned just every four days. But you can get towels, soap, shower gel or cups for coffee or tea every day when you ask for at the reception.

The hotel moved us to its sister property on check in. They did not recognize Hotels.com booking or status. The rooms were comfortable but lacked some basic amenities. And no drinking water bottles in the room. Pretty limited breakfast options. Definitely a great place for business travel, but not so great with family.
