The hotel was fabulous. Everything looks new and clean. We had a couple of bumps. One was parking. One night we had to park next door at a convenience store. Our other issue was during breakfast. The server seemed irritated to be there. Other than those two minor things we really enjoyed our stay. It is just across the street from our kids and a great location - 15 minutes from anywhere we wanted to go.

Room was clean and staff was nice. The property needs updating. Showers are small. The tile around the indoor pool is VERY slippery. My kids fell while trying to walk around.

This is a great hotel. We were traveling to see family during Thanksgiving and liked it so much, we decided to stay there again on the way home. Very clean hotel and friendly, helpful staff. We will stay there again.

Hotel was very nice and clean. Enjoyed our stay there while visiting family for Thanksgiving. The breakfast was the only thing that was not the best but overall... 5 stars!

We stayed for five nights on a family vacation. Pros first: great breakfast with many choices and plenty of seating, convenient location for the event I was attending (NOT downtown, but only about a 10 minute drive), helpful staff at the front desk and breakfast room, great water pressure in the shower, convenient to have a coin-operated laundry room.
Cons: not enough parking, including not sufficient handicap parking (it was so over full one time that some illegally parked between handicap spots). There was a funky (musty, urine??) smell in our room, hallways are not adequately air conditioned, the side door key pad did not work, so if you have to park in the side lot, you have to walk to the front door; the pool was sometimes “open” but not heated due to a malfunctioning heating element. Management did put up a sign to explain the situation, but we had planned on letting our kiddo swim a lot during the vacation. Our keycards stopped working at 6 am of our checkout day; there were stains on the carpet in the stairwell and guests were propping open the emergency door to the stairwell with rocks due to the lack of a keypad at that door. Our room wasn’t cleaned every day nor did they leave fresh towels.

This hotel was Ok for about 30 per night but 180 a night it was no where close. Had to park at a gas station, it was surly no suite. Standard hotel room with a couch packed in. Overall decent cleanliness but front desk guy was not very friendly and was the one that said we own the gas station go park there. It was just not a great experience and I chose a more expensive “suite” hoping for a nice room for my family

I enjoyed staying with my family. My son was comfortable on the pull out sofa. Room was clean. Driving distance to historic area was fine.

This place was ridiculously expensive for what it was, as we just stayed with same hotel chain anfmd got same room with no hassle and the extra beds/crib for half the price I do realize it was in a different market but unable to see prices of other hotels in this area to compare). We needed 2 beds, cot, and a crib. Got 1 bed, couch, begged for the crib, no cot. Do not stay here if you have a larger family or call ahead to ask questions about the room. Staff was reluctant to help with getting a crib, but ultimately did. Very glad we only had the room for one night.

The hotel was clean enough and beds were comfortable. However, we reserved a room that slept 6 but for both nights of our stay, had accommodations for only 4. The Holiday Inn Express did not compensate us for this in any way -- not with a future comp'd night, reduction in charge, or other compensation for 2 of our family having to sleep on the floor. For the 2nd night, they had additional rooms that opened up but wanted to charge us an additional $259 to have the use of one, despite their own failure to meet what they had promised us. We were already paying an exorbitant amount to stay at this hotel, so an additional $300 once you add the resort fee and taxes would have been ludicrous. We will not stay in the future.

Great place to stop on our way to South Florida from NJ. Friendly staff, close to 95, and nice for the kids to go in the indoor pool to release some energy after being in a car for 12 hours. Food was easy to find and nice to have the option of breakfast before hitting the road. Bed was comfortable. Would stay here again!!
