We only stay here when we come to Savannah. The hotel had a lot of events going on and staff was kind of all over the place. Love the staff though and very nice hotel for couples or families, or even business trips. Getting a little pricey with everything at the hotel though, like valet for example. The only complaint was the AC couldn't keep up even though the temps were in the 80s, the shower doors leaked out water into the room, and the fridge would not get cooler than 45. Still love this place! With the balcony rooms, you cannot beat the view!

I was impressed with how easy check n was, the staff was very nice, everyone that we bumped into during our stay was helpful and kind and had a smile. The only thing that could have been better was the price for Valet. I will def stay there agan and will recommend to friends and family

Nice river view room, however the bathroom is awefully small we struggled with our toddler. We had dinner at the in house restaurant and it was a bad idea, my food was tiny cauliflower dish with too much salt in it and wife got fried chicken which was mediocre, I think walmart serves better fried chicken. Staff at the reception and Valet were nice and helpful. Probably wont stay here again.

It’s was ok. The hotel was nice but the deluxe king room was very average and didn’t have a great view even though there were windows facing the river. I would say the best part of my day. Was they very nice and genuine people that worked for the hotel. Southern hospitality and its finest. They also posted that the family parking was $48. They kindly charge me an extra $25 per day for a service fee. Which was not disclosed and seems a bit of a scam.

Great location. Only the restaurant inside the hotel was not great. Salad to go was plain and didn’t come with salad dressing. They were closing and rushing order. It was also very busy with an event and lots of kids staying there. We have stayed in quieter, more peaceful hotels by the river, more preferable for us next time.

Breakfast service and bar staff superb. Special recognition to the Concierge Deb Kettler, she made our stay so easy, with all the details, recommendation, maps, and daily follow up when we returned to the hotel. She became like family to us, a wonderful and professional person.

Our room had someone in it when we went in. We reported it to the front desk and the manager quickly resolved by providing an upgraded room. We were pleased with the service recovery. River view room made for a wonderful stay for my family. Very clean, beautiful hotel, on historic district walking distance to everything. All staff at the front desk were friendly and thankful for staying with them. We will definitely stay there again.

1. Room looked dinghy. Dark walls and carpet didn’t hide the dust and dirt. 2. TV was super slow. You need Olympic archery skill levels to get the TV to work. Cheapest possible channel lineup. Expect their guests to get busy getting drunk? 3. Some of the staff were courteous and professional. Some were blatantly biased and racist. The woman who checked us in was rude and condescending. Gave us one key and seemed annoyed that we showed up at her desk when she’d run out of keys. Them complained about how we could call her if we needed something because she “never leaves.” 4. Parking was ridiculously expensive. The rude woman at check-in was no help in finding an alternative. Was perfectly nice to differently colored family behind us. 5. The Hyatt Regency is probably the ugliest building in downtown Savannah. 6. All this for several hundred dollars a night?
