Candlewood Suites Orlando - Lake Buena Vista, an IHG Hotel

I’m big on reading reviews these help me out when I’m booking a hotel. This hotel was great. It was very clean. The suite was beautiful. My husband and I went for two nights three days. I loved it so much. Will be back with the kids very soon! Everything is close by parks restaurants stores!!!

The hotel was clean and smells good! The room was spacious, clean and the beds were comfortable. Very good if you travel with kids. They have a full size kitchen which was very convenient for the kids to make quick meals. Overall the service was very good, we got everything we needed. It was only one girl in the reception that was not nice but we let is slide… Overall very good and definitely will return to this hotel.

Its an okay hotel. If you are looking for family friendly with amenities, in hotel restaurant, bar/ lounge, great pool etc etc... don't choose this one. If you want a reasonably priced suite room with no extras, this is it. We stayed local over a few days for my daughter's birthday. Probably the best thing was the complimentary laundry room. That made my day.. lol. Room was spacious and clean and we left it the same as when we arrived. When we went to check out... (requested 1 hour ext from 11am to 12), we used one of the luggage carts to take our luggage to our car in the parking deck. Upon getting back to the building, we realized our key cards were already deactivated and couldn't walk back through the building through the lobby to return the cart, so had to walk all around the building through the side drive (no ramp on the sidewalk at this part of the hotel) with this cart and it was 95 deg. in Florida. Why would they deactivate the card if we had the room for an extra hour? What if i left the room to get the cart and got locked out? Luckily i thought of that.. Be mindful they deactivate the cards right at 11, regardless of your location. Staff came up to my room and actually knocked at 11:30 to let me know it was check out day. As if i didn't know? In my 48 years on this planet, years of hotel stays over my life... I've never had that happen. Lastly, they apparently retained a part of my $50 damage hold, so will be finding out why as there was no "final" receipt.

The room was ok but the grout in the bathroom was dirty, and my children and I didn’t want to shower in there. We won’t be returning.

Room was big enough for my family to stay for one more night.

Facilities on property especially for families. and the location.

Amazing stay. Clean rooms. Friendly staff. Traveled with a family of 8 and stayed in a 2 bedroom suite. It was very spacious. Pool was warm. Had grills to cook. The room had a nice kitchen.

Great room setup for families. Close to theme parks and restaurants.

Overall had an excellent stay from cleanliness and comfort. Was what was too be expected at this price point. Only bummer pool was closed for cleaning. Which was one of the reasons we booked there being we brought the kiddo to Disney. The down fall of booking through travel sites with not being able to cut and run. Might have been nice to know that or been credited for missing amenity.
