Unfortunately, the room I reserved was not what my family and I stayed in on the first night. Ideally, a heads up would have been appreciated in the event of something like that but we were grateful to have a room nonetheless. The following day, we were moved to the room that we did originally reserve. The location was great and we loved having such ease of access to the National Mall. We would stay again.

This was a family trip and we were more than pleased with the amenities and the convenient location we were able to walk to places, metro was available close by and we had a disable person with us the hotel is very good with the accomodation for mobility scooter and walker in the room. Great food, service just the only thing night crew can be a little better but over all this was a great experience.

Ours was a family vacation, this hotel offered accommodations for everyone to enjoy our time there. Location was great you can walk to popular places or to bus/metro station. Breakfast has great options. Day Staff was great really friendly and always helpful. night staff is another story.

We had such an outstanding trip to DC thanks to the Hyatt Place. We have two small children under 3 and the Hyatt make it so easy for our family of four. From the cute pool, to the great breakfast, to the efficient valet - we appreciated all of the details and people that went into making this such a family friendly hotel. Easy walk/subway trip to Nationals park and quick walk to the National Mall.

The room looked brand new, as did most of the property. This was a great base for our one day stopover in DC as we drove home from a family spring break road trip down south. The staff were very professional and were great with our four-legged friend too. Not a lot of dining in the immediate vicinity, but an easy walk to most things, and of course the national mall at your doorstep.

High occupancy hotel, but wanted to comment that the staff is about as nice as they come. Every single person we encountered was pleasant and helpful, it was such game changer for a weekend. Thank you to the rooftop bartender-she was so nice to us and our kids.

even though property is next to national mall it takes around 25-40 mins to walk to different monuments. Parking was listed at $45 per night valet but in in addition there as another $8 extra parking tax per day as well. not many restaurants in walkable distance. Rooms were not as good. 4 guest occupancy rooms have sofa bed which were not convenient. bathroom door won't lock which was inconvenient with kids having in room. Basic stuff such as body lotion or shower cap were not there. Shower had poor pressure. Lots of noise especially cop cars and ambulance from freeway which was just next to hotel.

The hotel breakfast was really good and the rooms were nice and clean. It’s a great hotel for families with kids. The parking was too expensive and it was hard to get to.

Staff were great. It is within walking distance to the National mall. Room was clean. They offered a decent breakfast buffet, which saved us some money(we are a family of 5). Only drawback was lack of restaurants walking distance that is kid friendly.
