We loved the location of this hotel. 10 minute easy walk from the Wharf, and directly on top of a metro stop! Clean, comfortable rooms and just overall a nice hotel. Our kids loved the pool and we had great service. Having a Starbucks in the lobby is a nice perk, too! Only issue is that hotel access from the metro is tricky at night, but they were very accommodating.

The property itself is just fine. Quiet, clean, well appointed with everything we needed. Easy walk to the Wharf and the Mall. Access to Metro right downstairs. If you have kids, there is fast food court and the Wharf is very close with lots of dining options. Other than that, though, there aren't a lot of dining or shopping options in the immediate area. But easy to grab a rideshare. Staff was friendly. Would stay again.

We visited with family during the cherry blossom season. The rooms were clean, comfortable beds and location is superb. Walking distance to most monuments. I would stay there again.

If you’re thinking about hitting D.C. to see the sights, I recommend this hotel. Don’t let the parking garage scare you, it’s literally a 2 minute walk from the garage to the hotel. Looking at the map, we thought the museums were further away. Everything is very close. We easily made the trek on foot with two young kids in tow; even through the snow! The room was very clean, the staff very friendly. The hotel has great dining options and there are many places to eat within a 5 minute walk.

Great hotel; rooms are clean, large, and nicely renovated. The food court options below the hotel (attached to L'Enfant Plaza) are convenient although not open until about 11:00 am, and many are closed on the weekend. The hotel restaurant is pricey and not worth it for breakfast. You can't beat the convenience for metro, and it's walkable to the National Mall. (The walk to the Wharf is pretty long if you have kids, but there are Ubers everywhere.) Great place to stay!

Great hotel and location! This hotel had the kindest staff in all departments. Alex at the front desk was especially helpful to my kids and I. We would stay here again without a single hesitation.

The hotel was very clean and the staff friendly. We had a few issues at check-in, it was because I booked all 3 rooms and the clerk couldn't find the 3rd room. The manager stepped in and found it immediately and remedied the situation. Rooms were a good size and very clean, we had a nice view and my grandchildren loved their view of the pool. Would stay again.

The hotel was comfortable and the location was spectacular - Close to the wharf and its restaurants, and Very close to the metro lines and the Washington mall. The maid service was poor the restaurant was seriously lacking, and there was no room service. The food in the only hotel restaurant was poorly cooked and presented, and expensive - example - I ordered Sea-bass (medium rare) and got some kind of a skinny, over cooked fillet…maybe cod? The pool opens at 10 AM and closes at 7 PM, and no food or beverages are permitted- inconvenient for energetic children. The hotel had only been open for a couple of months, so maybe they’ll improve.

Hotel is beautiful. Rooms are beautiful. Lack of clean restaurants nearby is disappointing, & the homeless population makes sure you are in before it gets too late especially if you have kids

We stayed at this location with my husband and our two children. We booked a corner City View Suite. Unfortunately, all we could see was business office buildings.
The cold water faucet was broken up on arrival. They had a maintenance worker come up and try to fix it. He did his best but it really needed to be replaced. There is NO microwave in the room, which I thought was really odd. You can use a microwave in the lobby but it's very inconvenient for picky eaters that require special meals. We requested two extra blankets and an angry man came up and basically threw it at my husband. We had to ask again for the second blanket.
We also requested a late check out and were told there were no late checkouts available but to call back the day of checkout after 8am. We did and were told again that there were none available. We loaded up the kids and cousins and headed down to the pool where it was unexpectedly closed due to a photoshoot. When my husband went down to the front desk to find out why the doors were still locked no one knew, including the manager. To help remedy the situation he offered a late checkout. Which we thought was funny since a late checkout didn't seem to exist two hours earlier. We were not impressed with this hotel.
On a positive note, it is very conveniently located near walkable attractions. We wish we were told that there was a giant food court directly under the hotel. The BEST part of the hotel is the Starbucks. They do an excellent job!
