Courtyard by Marriott Washington Capitol Hill/Navy Yard

My kids & I enjoyed our much needed getaway at the Courtyard. Although, we reside in the district, life challenges have been exhausting. We enjoyed the gym on Christmas & they enjoyed the pool Christmas Day in the evening. Our room including the bathroom was cleaned. Fresh linen on our beds. The housekeepers were professional & personable but not overwhelming. Every one at the front desk during our stay Eric, Bryan, the female manager Christmas Eve & the young lady Christmas night provided outstanding customer service. No attitudes, assisted quickly. My daughter locked her broke phone in the safe & an engineer came within 10 mins of the issue. I truly appreciate it. The hotel was quiet, no kids running in the hall, no loud neighbors just the peace & love we needed during our holiday mental break! I found easy parking. However, I wasn’t feeling the price of parking per night but I get it. Thank you Courtyard!

The front desk staff was exceptional - always helpful and friendly. The property was also very clean, which is a huge must have for me. We also had our infant daughter with us, and they provided a VERY CLEAN and new pack-n-play with mattress for her to sleep in. It was very close to the stadiums and lots of dining and bar options. We also loved how close it was to the Metro station - perfection! 1 of 2 elevators up to the rooms was not working, so unfortunately that was a pain during busy times, but not awful. The parking situation was also not ideal. You are paying for valet, but you still need to go down to the garage to drop off/pick up your car and all they do is park it for you or pull it out of the spot. Overall, I would absolutely stay here again and recommend others do too.

Was a nice family trip to watch the dc site, the location was good, plenty of restaurants in the area to choose from.
