Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Springfield Enfield

They treated booking from hotels.com as low grade third party booking and at every step they made us realised that we did something really bad by booking from hotel.com overall terrible experience. we specifically booked 2 adjoining rooms for family of 2 parents and 4 young children and confirmed adjoining rooms but when we arrived at hotel both rooms were booked at different floor levels

Checking in was not a good first impression. The desk clerk was not very “hospitable” He spoke very fast and seemed very irritated by my questions about handicap accessible rooms. When booking the room it listed in the amenities details that the two Queen bed room was handicap accessible. He said no and that the handicap accessible rooms were not available and this was all he had. I did not contact the property regarding this issues because it was listed in the description of the room I chose. I did not purchase the trip insurance because I thought I’d taken care of it online so leaving was not an option. I was also bummed that the restaurant on the property was not open on Mondays which means we had to go out for food. We checked in at 7:50 and had an infant with us.

2 parents and 2 kids stayed here for a weekend at 6 flags, I think the property is great and has a nice bar and out door pool area, great buffet breakfast in the mornings, one of the best Ive seen, Really nice staff, really helpful, One small issue I had was that the hotel closes their bar down for private events, you can still get drinks or order food at reception but you dont get the bar atmosphere, saying that because of this we did find a great bar Keltic table and Tap a 5 min walk door to door, great for couples or families. has lots of tvs for sports and great food. Would definitely stay here again.

Easy check in, staff is super friendly, clean hotel! Great for a one night stay with a toddler

We arrived after midnight and were told we had to wait 30 minutes for an "audit" to complete. Needless to say, after 10 hours in the car with two kids we weren't impressed - especially with the clerk who told us we should have arrived earlier and that it was our fault.

Love staying here. Close to my family, breakfast is great. Surprised by a $7/day parking fee but I will definitely call this home away from home. Love the rooms.

Was recommended this property from a family member for a family funeral. The area was convenient to all our needs. The hotel staff were professional from the moment we stepped on the property until we left. From the hotels cleanness to complimentary breakfast and housekeeping was exceptional. In general, this was an "ok" experience. Not sure we would return unless no other option. Pros - things were relatively clean and easy to navigate the hotel. Elevators were painless. Parking wasn't bad. Cons - pool is nice but we were put in a room next to pool/bar and with an infant, it was just too loud until the 10pm close. If you have young ones I'd make sure you consider that or avoid - there are other options. Fire alarm light blinks throughout night - so that annoyed the kids. Hot breakfast was very subpar. If you look for a decent hot breakfast before starting your day - don't bank on this. It was our first shot trying this and honestly I'd probably just stay at MGM next time.

I really enjoyed staying at the Fairfield Inn & Suites in Enfield Connecticut, my family stayed here overnight to spend the next day at six flags. I must say I have never been so impressed by a hotel. It was very clean, the staff were wonderful, the pool was awesome and the whole experience was definitely at 10!

Was a good price and a great location near Sux Flags, pool was perfect for the kids and the fire pit was nice as well.
