It's actually a bit of a brilliant paradox: it's not really near the places you'll be going to (except Old Town), but it's right next to the light rail station - so getting to where you want to go is easy. It's also in a quiet area of town too, so as long as the other guests aren't partying into the night you'll have no problems sleeping. The price is right for what you're getting, and the property doesn't try and pretend it's something glamorous - which in my book is great. The biggest positive, however, is that the staff are very personable, friendly, and treat you like a welcomed guest. Great for families, and their library of books and DVDs to watch is a big plus.

Just an overnight stay at this charming hotel with my family. Location was perfect from Seaworld and Old Town. Beds were very comfortable. Check-in was easy. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was awesome. Parking though is limited so be sure not to arrive too late at night. Other than that, everything was great! I didn't use the pool nor laundry but they had both. And they make it a point to not charge for anything so no hidden fees. I'd highly recommend!

This Inn is a little hidden Gem, Joshua at reception was super nice and helpful, gave us all information we asked to get by. breakfast was ok, the lady at the breakfast area was so nice and trying to help all visitors and making sure we were well feed.. the room was super clean and the beds are so comfortable, we sleep like babies. highly recommended.

Picture of a kitchenette is false advertising. There is none. When we told them, they said sorry, but had not interest in discounts or refunds, so it seems the false advertising is on purpose. Breakfast was great, the lady refilling everything should get a raise, she was awesome. A loud group woke our whole family up after 11 talking near the stairs, not great; you hear everything outside of your window. I killed 3 spiders a day in our bathroom, but aside from that, it was generally clean. Overall a mixed review, but we likely won't return because they misrepresented the room to get us there in the first place.

The Old Town Inn is perfect for the price. The pros: incredibly friendly and helpful front desk staff, a free continental breakfast, free parking, a heated outdoor pool, clean grounds and room. Complimentary DVDs and board games available in the lobby is a fun perk for the kids. If you're looking for a luxurious and scenic San Diego spot, this isn't what you're looking for, but if you're a family looking to enjoy the local attractions with accommodations that are close and competitively priced, this is a great option. it was cute small old and nice. like granny's house. Amazing Flowers , even had a baby possum stow away in my car. made it thru military inspection . lol we had FUN.

Me & my husband are renovating our parents home eventually to return home SD. This place has been a great place for us to come and always get amazing service, atmosphere and know it’s eco friendly and super clean plus romantic for us. I have recommended this place all my family when in town check here first before staying anywhere else.
