Valued hotel amenities. Great place for family and if going to Seaworld only minutes away.

Close to airport and free shuttle was on time with very friendly driver. Property was clean and very close to tons of bars/restaurants/shops. Close to freeway but sound did not bother me and slept like a baby. Free breakfast was nice and dinning area was clean.

When it comes to Marine families and graduation, they have it figured out! Friendly staff, nice clean comfortable rooms, and the shuttle service to and from the airport and MCRD means one less thing to stress about.

For Marine Corps families this is the perfect hotel. Includes a free shuttle service that will pick you up at the airport and will also take you to the base for graduation ceremonies. Will also pick you up. Will drop you off at the airport. Has free breakfast and also a laundry room. The staff are friendly and very accommodating. The drivers of the shuttles very friendly. Everyone was terrific and this made our trip smooth. Thanks!

We absolutely loved the service. Here for MCRD graduation and we got in early, early check in not a problem, and had a later flight out letting us do late check out as well. Everyone was so kind and helpful. Kitchen staff were fighting two mornings we were eating breakfast (which wasn’t good but free) so that provided early morning entertainment at 7am. Our room ac broke so the last morning was warm when we woke up. The hotel is in a safe area and we felt comfortable walking around w kids. The shuttle drivers are maniac drivers but also super friendly and jokesters. We came from WA and understand where the “California stop” came from. My kids were laughing that the brakes were crying out of pain in the minivan we were taken to graduation in. They were screeching and it truly sounded like they were in pain every time he slammed on them. The whole process was streamlined and they were fully aware of schedules for MCRD starting incredibly early. MCRD is vast and includes a lot of walking, and they come through no problem. From theater to entrance. Having never been, and not renting a car, we were sooo happy with our time. Thank you again

My family had an excellent experience at this hotel. The friendly and efficient staff go above and beyond to make your stay wonderful. It’s close to Old Town, which was a fun area to explore with great dining options. Highly recommend!

The staff are exceptional, very friendly and took good care of us. Our family was here, specifically for the Marine boot-camp graduation. The hotel specializes in getting the families back and forth to the airport and to the graduation. It was a saving grace not to have to deal with traffic and renting a car. We ordered pizza to our hotel one night, and the Taco place down the street might not look like much but is excellent and reasonable priced.

Staff is not trained to handle disabled people, they were very rude towards our disabled child.

The check in process was quick and easy. Art and Vangie welcomed us with care and concern, that our stay would meet our expectation of the property. Art and Vangie were the first people I met after coming through the lobby doors. They really made me feel like I was part of the Holiday Inn Express family. Thank you.

Room was clean and decor was nicely updated. Will recommend hotel to friends and family. Also, good location close to airport and downtown.
