Residence Inn by Marriott San Diego Downtown/Bayfront

The two-bedroom suite was amazing, very comfortable and the views from the 16th floor were breathtaking. I traveled with my two small kids, my senior mom and sister and there was a bed for all of us. I loved that each room had its own thermostat. The service was great and friendly the atmosphere around the hotel/San Diego was calm and quiet. Parking was easy and safe. I have no complaints. I’ve Stayed here before and probably would stay here again.

Excellent location, helpful staff, and a great spot for families with young children.

The hotel is very convenient as it’s close to all the sites, parking onsite and a pool. Staff is very nice and kind. However for the price I would expect: - cleaner rooms, in particular the carpets. If you walk barefoot in your room you will price your feet really dirty when getting in the shower. - bed headboards are loose and any movement in a room next door will translate into a banging sound in your rooms wall. I got woken up a few times in the middle of the night by neighbors “having fun”. Please attach the headboards properly to the wall. - pool is great but could you open the bar next to it way earlier so we can enjoy a drink by the pool? - it would be great to have a couple of better food options at the rooftop restaurant. Food is really limited, specially if you are eating there with kids.
