Free breakfast was convenient for our family with young kids. All areas of the hotel were clean. Parking was easy and location was very central. Staff were friendly and helpful.

I did not appreciate that I reserved and paid for a "family" room that was supposed to be larger but then got into a regular 2 queen room.

Pool and buffet breakfast were both a great addition. Suited our family of 4 for a 2 night stay just outside of Napa city centre.

Awful and loud construction. I couldn't sleep. Noise was so loud it woke me up at 6am on a Saturday. Had to check out at 9am. I booked a room for my anniversary so that we can be away from our kids and get rest. I was so tired on the way home.

PROS: Nice budget hotel. Most importantly it was clean, staff was friendly. Walking distance to bay & restaurants. Close to San Diego zoo. CONS: construction starts at 7 am & it’s loud. The city tram runs by & is also loud. The roll away bed is not comfortable. My toddler didn’t complain but an adult probably wouldn’t be able to walk after sleeping on that. Paying for parking is also a joke. It made me nervous that parking was first come first serve since we were driving in from out of state. Overall, I’d stay here again. It would be nicer stay when construction is done. I was pleased with the cleanliness & that’s always #1 in my book. It’s not a luxury hotel, but staff is very nice & it was a nice budget friendly hotel.

Great location for a trip with the family. Walking distance to Little Italy, the boardwalk, and easy access to the zoo. Would stay here again.

Pros: very clean, obviously new, parking garage, downtown, close to theater and water, limited to-go breakfast, decent size room for a family of 5 Cons: lots of construction, need card key to work elevator, expensive parking, flat pillows

Good: Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. The kids enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The location was excellent for our planned activities (very close to the zoo). The waterfront (USS Midway, etc) is walkable. Not so good: Air conditioning did not really work so the room was too warm. The tap water was gross. Overall: Excellent location and comfortable stay. Would recommend.

The good part first. The staff at this property are all amazing! Alway smiling and very friendly. The rest is all so so. The included breakfast is all pre packaged frozen food. Like most hotels all the snacks or drinks for purchase are majorly over priced. The pool is in the middle of the hotel so sun is limited. However the pool area it’s self was always clean with fresh towels available. Every hotel I have ever stayed at has coffee in the lobby or some where close by in the morning. This one just offered more of the same pods from the room that you could take and make your own. So if you were trying to not wake everyone in your room and grab a coffee downstairs. You can’t. The coffee maker in the room. Is also located in the bathroom… not the place I want to be making coffee after someone uses the washroom. Having a balcony is great. The view of the harbor from our room was nice. No bathroom fan. Which always sucks! Great neighborhood for walking around. Close to lots of great places for walking around and scooter rentals. The common areas are always clean. The rooms could use some updating. Beds are pretty hard. Pillows were great! All in all. If I went back for business I would stay here again. For a family trip. Probably not.
